Does it work, or have you actually seen a doctor? - BiggE
lol
I've only been to the doctor for a non-routine physical once in the last five years. That visit was for my back which I don't think apples help anyway.
Hextall should just be listening right now, but unless someone is willing to overpay big time, that's all he should be doing.
When it comes to D, especially cost controlled young D, there are a lot of buyers and very few sellers. No need to rush into anything. Let the most desperate teams out there start a bidding war and then make your move.
they actually really only have cap space for this year since McDavid adds almost 12 million next season. RNH would be a great grab for them since they will probably have to lose someone, but it would be very weird for them to trade him. RNH is the reason Draisaitl doesn't have to play center
Not possible without a big contract going to Edmonton. - Feanor
I wouldn't want RNH anyway for what they would most likely have to give up. Which would probably be either Sanheim, Hagg, or Morin and picks as well. He has a 6 million dollar cap hit and had 43 points last season I know he is young, but I'd rather keep the D prospects we have for now. If we do trade one of them in the future I'd much rather it be for a more established scorer than RNH.
He's like a poor man's Wayne Simmonds. Again, I wouldn't give up any of our top-end young prospects for him, but he's a good secondary scorer who has size and knows how to use it.
Also, if anyone accidentally fell on Patrick, Maroon could be "one of his guys" that the fall-oner would have to fight. - jmatchett383
I think if we trade for and sign Maroon, Wayne is 100% traded in a separate deal.
I should have said, "interested in" as opposed to "all about," as I agree. Not a guy I'm beating down a door to acquire, but a player that I would be happy to add to to lineup depending on the return.

Yeah i feel you, I wasn't trying to be a Richard this time around.

And that's part of it. If we truly are trading Wayne Simmonds (which I am 100% against), then I'd like to bring in a Maroon type to help fill his role. Sadly, I don't think there are more than a handful of players like him (Maroon) in the league that I would want.
I meant the inside out umbrella. I saw the video they sent but still not sure I know how it operates. - dragonoffrost
It's like a regular umbrealla in use, but it folds "inside out" to make it easier to enter/exit vehicles and doorways (and it won't ruin your "Important Papers):

If the Flyers could hypothetically trade Gudas for Maroon straight up and then Simmonds and a 1st to lets say Toronto for Nylander would you do it ?

Yes, I've said before that Nylander is a player that I would do Simmonds for straight up, and I don't see Gudas as a part of our long-term plan. So yes, I would 100% do those deals.
