Draisaitl for McDonagh. |

Or Werenski
Werenski is a treat to watch play, that kid is all over the ice all the time. He's like a rover that just kinda flies around wherever he wants and it's fun to watch. I wish he played for a team I wasn't contractually obligated to loathe. - eichiefs9
Going into that draft I knew we could walk out with one of Hannifin/Provorov.
McDavid and Eichel were going 1-2. Strome was going to be a top 5. The wildcard was if both the Canes and Leafs passed on Marner, once he went #4 I thought, there is no way we can (frank) this up. Stupid me. |

Yeah, Pens have had a run of awful luck. They should turn things around soon but I wonder if they haven't dug themselves a bit of a hole and find it hard to hold their ground. - BINGO!

Yeah that's a tough one to defend for the Devils. Every team has, at least, one or two of those though. Isles have Strome/Reinhart/Dal Colle to lament.
Obviously hindsight is 20/20, but they could have conceivably had, in order, Scheifele, Lindholm/Forsberg/Trouba, Nylander/Ehlers instead. |

Because player with zero hart don't play physically or change their game.(like Ovie did for Hunter) - tomburton99
Yes, but players with zero heart disappear when you play physical against them, or push them out of their favourite tee box in the circle, or force them to play defense (which he has done a bare handful of times in a decade).
Anyone have the "controller disconnected GIF handy??
And I feel like if he wasn't so gifted a scorer, his physical game would not be nearly so impressive. Due to the fact that more than half the time he should be called for charging on his hits. The league favours their stars. Always has. Ovi leaves his feet more than anyone else I can think of. |

I loathe anyone in the Metro by default. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy watching them play, but I still hope they all lose 82 games a year |

2011 drafted in hind-sight should have seen Kucherov go 1, Scheifle 2. |

Wasn’t asking for you. I was just weighing in on the overall conversation and not calling out anyone specifically. Each of you are entitled to your own views obviously, as long as respectfully articulating it, I am good. Even if I won’t agree with one side of it. |

He should probably get selke love, but won't due to him being a winger. He's an elite defensive forward while also capable of scoring 20 goals. |

I don't know if it was a "great" pick. Definitely a good pick they screwed up |
