For the record I hate wrestling.

- JRR1285

So do I.

I find most of those wrestling girls that fans love repulsive, but this chick is actually kinda hot once you scrape off the 3" layer of caked on makeup and hair dye.

Now you're just trying to be dumb.
What great success has Ovechkin brought Washington? President's Trophy? We got that. 1st or 2nd round playoffs? We got that.
How exactly are they better off, or how have they been better than us for some time now, just because they have an incredible goal scorer with zero heart?

- Tonybere

Because player with zero hart don't play physically or change their game.(like Ovie did for Hunter)

you are a wanna be GM

I am a fan

there's our disconnect

so (frank) you

- jimbro83

I'm not a wanna be gm. I know that in likelihood the Rangers won't rebuild until forced too. Doesn't mean I won't stop rooting for it.

I do remember beating Ovie and Hunter and then heading to the conference final

Here's another wrestling-themed one for you

- eichiefs9

Can you do one from the same draft where I punch myself repeatedly in the face when I hear "With the 6th overall selection, the Devils take.." and the words Ivan Provorov don't come out.

The Rangers have one ECF championship that separates them from the Islanders. Which is meaningless. Nobody outside the fan-base will revere that team. No matter how fun it was to experience that run(The best I've seen) at that time.
- tomburton99

They gave me endless Kreider highlights to watch...makes it 10x better than the islanders

Just to be clear I don't particularly agree with a lot of what Tom says but Ovie plays with heart and would be an asset in NY. He has not always been perfect but I think he has evolved quite a bit.

Or Werenski

Werenski is a treat to watch play, that kid is all over the ice all the time. He's like a rover that just kinda flies around wherever he wants and it's fun to watch. I wish he played for a team I wasn't contractually obligated to loathe.

I made my view on direction in which New York should head in well known in blog. My mind is not changed even with McD injury. If long term and record suffers, then I will adjust according. If want a view on what this era is like, read “We Did Everything but Win, Story of the 1964-1976 Rangers,” very similar to this era. For those of us who cuddly remember what it was like before the lockout, give me this version of the Rangers. This coming from someone who wear bris Leetch AG end of wedding reception two days after Matteau, Matteau, Matteau, so I want to win just as bad or worse than anyone else. But to say rebuild 21 games into the year, to me, that’s a ko go right now seeing where they stand in a wide open league.

I get that, but I think the Pens turn it on in a big way. Washington may very well miss.
- smellmyfinger

Yeah, Pens have had a run of awful luck. They should turn things around soon but I wonder if they haven't dug themselves a bit of a hole and find it hard to hold their ground.
