The team as built will be either flawed or a work in progress
standings, results force the issues or allows time to take its toll
we all know if the NYR mgmt wanted to go after a top center it has the resources to do so ..
I f you can down grade that to a 3rd line (Shaw ) center for a D man
i would do that too
Brings me to my pt: with contracts coming to the next wave of NYR grads
J T hayes Shey Vesey do we have resources to pay Macs next deal or kreids or
Zuccs.... I propose posting what willya give me for
MAc & krieds ? Draistl ? Pacioretta &Galenchuk?+
i see that but it might be 1 step back to go 2 steps fwd... U could lose the teams gut for a while but overall might be the answer
NOT with the teams position in the standings and what going on around them.
If the bad start had lingered and not say gone on a 6 gm win streak....
That deal is one helluva deal for us & them
This treading water reacting to the team & lg behaviors is not gonna secure
a top team to make a top run... it will guarentee a competetive team that aint winnin it ,just give you a thrill or 2 but not enough pop in the guns to win it all
MAYBE thats the philosophy all along ... dont reach out & maybe blow it up but possibly build the dynamic team to WIN it all
the safe slower route is to ..wait & see .... problem its gettin old from 94' now
waitin on 18 yr old to mature ...well i got a 21 yr old ,,, ggoood luck with that ,,
just sayin i aint makin P O resevations bankin on 2nd 1/2 wonders from 2
yg men who hopefully will help down the road...just not now.... |

From Corey Pronman’s latest column on The Athletic:
Sometimes players have a good NHL camp and it can be a bit of a mirage, and then when they are sent down to junior or the AHL, reality strikes. That hasn’t happened with Filip Chytil. He’s been ridiculously good, when healthy, for an 18-year-old forward, and he has been one of Hartford’s top players. His progression the last few months has been one of the most interesting stories in the prospect world, as he continues to establish himself as a truly elite prospect. |

three games this weekend for the Pack, he's healthy, lets see if he tears it up
if so, he really could be back here sometime next week. |

we are 7-2 in last 9. one loss we couldnt score on the Bob, apparently the season is over though - jimbro83
That 6 game streak didn't turn them into contenders, the losses in Chicago and Colombus show they haven't come that far, Ottawa was nice but let's see how they back it up |

didn't say that, I will say that no one in the league looks like contenders right now either though
edit: besides Tampa, but, the NYR and NYI both beat them on the road, so, they aren't unstoppable |

I wish him nothing but the best, class act & bled blue for this team, he deserves to be on a winner. |
