Sorry, I reported this by accident.

And since I've done that, I will not make my off-color Depends joke.

Yep, and we just finished paying you guys for Ruutu with a 3rd rounder this past draft (Morgan Geekie) who will no doubt turn into an efficient 3rd line center since we gave you that pick.

Kings are sending Vilardi back to OHL, still at least 2 weeks away from playing due to back injury.

Well he's a 6'2 C with 113 points in his last 93 WHL games so, maybe.

But at least you got a broken husk of what Tuomo Ruutu used to be!

Not many teams get the better of Lou, but the Canes certainly did. Francis should call up the Leafs and see what they would offer for Stempniak.

Jan, As much as i hate to say it, this team really isn't going to contend. Theres just too much negatives to stay positive. With that said, lets look further in to the future. We all know NYR brass will never say "we're rebuilding". They'd rather go for the 1 or 2 rounds of the playoff, if we even make it, than dump and build. But what say you to a couple of contracts that will be coming off in a couple years as in Zucarello and Mac? Their at the top of their game and with contracts that are manageable for many. That #2 or 1B center sits in Edmonton. So a deal including Mac, Day, Zucarello, maybe Vesey and either a pick or prospect not named Chytil, to Edmonton for Draisital and Nurse? Edmonton gets a leader MacDavid could lean on, A winger he can play with and extra parts. We get a beast in Draisital who I think can become the next Mark Messiah
What do you think?

As much as I would love that, I don't think Chiarelli is brain dead enough to do that... He did give away Hall and Seguin for spare parts, but he would have to be without a pulse to give up Draisatl and Nurse for anything less than the entire NYR roster.... Come on..... give me a break...

No Rask for the Canes. Lindholm will play C with Skinner and Di Giuseppe.

Haydn Fleury back in, though.
