so not sure if there is anything to this....but rumor is Sens either have been sold or are in the final stages of being sold...i was told the people that owned/started Cirque du Soleil are in the process of acquiring the team and it will be announced at the Winter Classic game...

whole thing is they want to get in on the lebreton deal for the new arena as part of the overall investment....

i heard it and a few people i know that work for the Sens have said they have also heard rumors of a sale...

take it with a grain of salt....

That would be awesome! Now that's an organizing that has serious money. They could finance pretty much whatever they wanted and they will surely not cheap out. They are also in the sho-bizz and they probably would understand the impact of paying serious money for top end talent. I'm sure they have to do that for the cricus. On that note- if ever this were true and bound to happen- would you expect the sens jersey to change a bit with new ownership. For one thing, the jersey might be a little more colorful. Haha

I'm more referring to all the posts about how an Ottawa deal was unlikely.

Duchene HAS looked pretty solid from the limited amount I've watch this past 5 days.

I can watch tonight so I'm hoping to see more of that translate into some points.

With you guys, it was unlikely. As soon as Nasvhille came in and did the heavier lifting in the deal to provide the Dman. Then it was able to happen.
