Just curious how many of the posters here have ever blown a whistle in their lives, betting 1.

I’ve blown whistles for 20 years. My father blew whistles and his father before him and his father before him. We are a family of whistle blowers.

This is all good, except for the fact Paul wrote an article about he never developed a rapport with Eric Lindros a couple of years ago.

In the article Paul mentions how he never had a good rapport with Lindros. He then goes on to mention how while he didn't go out of his way to invent calls against Lindros, he was not going to let Lindros get away with a borderline call, that he would let someone he had a better rapport with get away with.

Now he claims that he would not punish a team because he didn't like a certain player. But isn't calling a borderline penalty on a player you don't like, that you'd let slip by another player, punishing that players team?

What happened with that? Last I heard, Lindros was suing Paul for defamation.

That is also the last that I've heard. The equipment manager basically said that Paul was making it up.
