I don't see JV being traded, personally. Pacioretty is too old for this team, so I really hope he would never do this. I could see Montreal wanting Sutter, he would help them up the middle. That's a big contract though.

I hope they keep Virtanen, Hutton and Stecher could go though. Sutter is playing well for what he brings, but if that would get Pacioretty and Galchenyuk.

With a serious lack of Centers JB probably won't consider trading Sutter until EP and Gaudette make the team.

I don't mind too much as long as we are adding younger guys and not giving too much up in the way of prospects/picks. I'd be very interested in: Reinhardt, RNH or galchenyuk for one of edler and Tanev plus.

TDL chip, not win now. I've seen nothing to indicate JB thinks this team is much better than the last two years, before this season he said to expect some growing pains and that the UFA's he picked up were to insulate the younger players development. I don't think that has changed, were not in a playoff spot right now and I would expect that to continue into the new year. I'd be shocked if this were true based on TL and JB both waiving the rebuild flag all offseason

Galchenyuk is 23 and can play center . His big fault at center is face offs (enters Manny Malhotra ) Max Pax is still a top LW 29 yrs old. We need help LW.

Was listening to Dan Murphy on the 650 before. He thinks Canucks truly feel they are playoff contenders and might be in the mood to spruce up the line up instead of selling off. He also stated that if they are 4 -5 points out at TDL with 4 or 5 teams to leapfrog then he hopes they will be sellers
