1) Kesler is not playing

2) Bergeron only played 14 games yet still the best two-way defensive forward in the game

3) if there was a trade for ROR and toews I would do that in a second and put the C on his chest

The funny thing of those three everyone would trade Ryan O'Reilly for

- GERBE!!!75PTS

He's getting 63% O-Zone draws this year. ROR is 64% D-Zone this year. Who's playing defense more?

We're female doging about ROR not living up to his deal, you want to trade for a guy with an even worse contract in Toews.

How does Tyrod look compared to Peterman now? Can we stop with the Peterman bullpoop now please?

Yes we can. It was still a necessary move...if only to confirm that drafting a quarterback next year is a must.

Yeah but you can’t deny that this was not the time.... he just threw out any chance at the playoffs by handing this game over.

Yeah, on CANADA. If he was Slovakian. Sure, good on him.

He is probably the most overrated player in the league.

That's the way I'm leaning. They wanted to give Tyrod a wake up call. They just didn't think it would be that bad.

Having said that they should've pulled him after the 3rd one. 1st one wasn't on him. That needs to be caught, but he just threw the next 2 up for grabs. You cannot do that in the NFL; it's going to get picked off every time.

He was ready. He has no receivers, the guys out there can't catch a ball that hits'em right in the numbers, and the O-line can't get the poor S.O.B. any more than 1.5 seconds to get the ball off. Brady would be getting his ass handed to him playing on this team.

I don’t think he was “ready”
All of the above might be true,
but he clearly looked overwhelmed to me

We have 99 losses with him in the lineup

Just saying not a Difference Maker

- GERBE!!!75PTS

We also have most of those losses with Jack in the lineup. Not a difference maker, just saying. Do you see how asinine that is to say that?

Whatever he does, he would be smart to show more patience than TM and a lot of the fans.

They are in need of a few more (3?) impact players. If you're gonna finish low, keep the picks that's a no brainer, and start looking at free agents, but don't trade away young assets for short term fixes. Try for a few reclamation projects on the cheap.
Lower a few expectations for individual players ( Samson) accept it and pay accordingly at contract time.

Nonsense! He was 2nd overall! He needs to be the bestest!

No matter how Peterman played we were gonna need to draft a QB
It’s not like he was gonna come out & put up numbers like Watson
So he wasn’t gonna cement himself as our future QB based on how these last 7 games went regardless

Everyone on here knows how I feel about Tyrod... and even I said that Tyrod should’ve been starting today
Tyrod wasn’t playing well,
but he still gave us the best chance to win today
Now our playoff hopes are severely damaged
We would’ve been in good shape still if we had won today

I didn't mind the QB experiment. Dumping Dareus was the worse move. Playoffs ?!? (Said like Jim Mora) - this D can't stop ANYONE. Even if they kept playing Tyrod, this team was going nowhere with such a crappy defense. I fully expect this D to give up at least 35 points a game from here on out.

Not sure I agree with the Housley thing...why do we always see ridiculously young teams with rookie coaches and why are we surprised that they don't progress as fast as we want them to?
I get that certain coaches work better with Veterans ( Hitchcock comes to mind) but there are a poopload of proven coaches that a) have won as NHL head coaches, b) and have improved young teams while in charge.

The fact is that Phil Housley has accomplished less as a head coach than that piece of poop Dallas Eakins.

Am I being Punk'd?

Unless Peterman was just looking AMAZING at practice, then keeping Tyrod in was the correct move
I know he was struggling,
but the whole team was
And as much as I say Tyrod isn’t a Franchise QB, the recent losses weren’t ALL HIS FAULT either
There was plenty of blame to go around

The qb change was premature

Well if Jack is more important,
then wouldn’t u say the losses are more his fault?

Look, no one on here is saying ROR is better than Jack
No one is even saying he’s great
Just that he’s IMPORTANT
And he plays his role well

If Jack had to play in all those defensive situations...
don’t ya think his points would suffer?

That's not the question. You're using the team's record as an example of why ROR isn't a "difference maker". And I'm saying the Sabres aren't exactly lighting the league on fire when Jack plays either. Not saying who's more important; that is totally irrelevant to your original point.

Way to move the goalposts like you always do.

Bravo.

Really quick. I saw you guys talking about Peterman and the bills the other day. I'm a Pitt season ticket holder and wanted to kinda warn you that he "may" not have the mental tools....although he could develop. Just saw what he did in the first half.......sorry.
- cranktheradio

But Jon Gruden compared him to Andy Dalton!
