you dont like ROR on his deal?
- Sabresfan-365

i'm not offended by it, but it is a little high...ror will provide consistent numbers throughout the length, but it would be nice to get a little more out of him at that price-tag

Do you actually beleive that old adage? I always thought trades need to analyzed 3-5 years down the road.

its hard to get true value out of him when hes being overworked. a competent defence means hes gotta do less of it. takes the pressure off a bit, little more offence with the two draft picks coming up.

The fact that it took so long for the Leafs to figure this out - even with decades of historical failure, boggles the mind. Leafs got lucky. Fortunate timing (and tons of cash) created this current management team. Why it wasn't a priority in the past (money?) is frustrating as a fan.

The last thread had disagreements as to whether or not the win column should be a factor when considering whether or not one should be considered a "difference maker" or not.

if they can move him with minimal salary coming back, i'd have to think they'd do it in a heartbeat...and I happen to like okposo despite his dismal start to this season

we've seen these guys enough to see them at their best and worst. In that time i feel like 3 guys can be part of the core moving forward under their current deals. Jack, ror and risto.

time will tell on that one...the old adage is "whoever gets the best player wins the trade"

kane is surely the best player of all those moved...at least right now

- Michael Pachla

If Kane plays 0 playoff games for the Sabres, and is moved or walks it’s an awful use of those assets

Time to rebuild

- GERBE!!!75PTS

Yeah let’s panic when we have played 11 different defensemen. We don’t need to rebuild we are still building....we’ve got three hopefully impactful players in the system, that are one or two years away. We should be able to add another one in this draft.

Guess nobody learns from Murray..... THERE IS NO QUICK FIX.
