Agreed.
- Scabeh

It's funny to think about the fact that this is all a product of a Philly offer-sheet.

according to a crazy hab rumour, that would make Price another former Leaf...
- jimi james

What is this rumour?

A guy on the Sabres thread was hinting at it.

It's not the "Al Iafrate rumour" is it?

Kadri really is a complete fool to make the man-mountain angry.

Does he realize he'll be seeing him another 4-5 times this season?

- Scabeh

That's because kadri knows its only a couple more times this season.

It could get really, really weird.

Near the end of the contract, Montreal could trade him to a rival of the Predators in the Western Conference.

That team could then convince him to retire (either carrot or stick) so that the Predators incur a cap-recapture penalty.

I'd be more worried if I was Nashville.

Exactly, wont really matter to Montreal.

Man Mountain? Please.

Kadri's people fight wars in real mountains with sticks and stones and win against world super powers.

(frank) a mountain.

Nah, it will take at least 2-3 games for slow poke weber to catch up Kadri.

He was born in a cave in Afghanistan.

A cold cave with an indoor rink.

For sure, whatever gets anyone working out is cool. That petalon thing does look pretty cool for indoor training. I really like winter cycling though. Toronto is good for it, it doesn't snow a ton and if you dress like for skiing the temps are fine. The best part a lot less other cyclists on the road and those that are know what they're doing.
- Zezel

I'm a big fan of cycling classes and have been doing some for a while now and have really seen some great benefits. Anyhoo, the classes add up and believe it or not the 39$ a month, which is cheaper than a gym membership in Boston, is about the cost of a class an a half MAYBE. Point being, if that's my preferred cardio workout the thing will pay for itself (assuming I use it). The live classes are fantastic and actually keep you motivated to use the thing as opposed to starring at a wall. I've had it for a while now and waited to actually comment on it because I wanted to use it for a month before I did. I've been taking a class almost every day (just not a 60 minute one like Sunday, which I was proud of).

Also, to your point about cycling in Boston - it is notoriously unsafe. You should see the amount of people that get hit on our streets in news. A (frank)ing duckboat hit someone like 3 months ago - a DUCKBOAT. I have zero interest in biking on these streets. Yes, there are cool spots that are safe, but you have to bike to them on the streets.

slow-footed weber was caught with his head down by a faster but smaller opponent.

this seems to be the real issue. why does nobody want to talk about this?

trade nylander.
seriously, his value is only going to slide from this point on.
i think he is a good player.
but best to trade him to nyi for tavares (sign and trade). leafs might not even have to add that much if it's clear jt wants to be in toronto and wouldn't resign with nyi

Children, when offered one candy now or two candies later, generally can't help themselves, and go for the candy now. They just don't have the concept of waiting for something more.

Welcome back Matthews, we didnt need your two goals...but dammit we'll take it!
Leivo signs a one year extension.....good to see it's pretty for much the exact same amount we can bury in the AHL.
Kadri turtles but Weber would have killed him.

Great game Saturday....still too bad Price wasnt in the net for the beating.
Only 12 more wins against the habs to get to .500 ...well over the past several years.

- Fakepartofme

Kadri didn't turtle he was grabbed by one guy thrown to the ice and punched by another guy.

I'm guessing he didn't realize it was Pacioretty who nailed him from behind in the first place and decided it was Weber?

If it was Weber, he'd probably be dead.

Btw, that was a stupid miss call by the refs.

Which made Kadri make a dangerous blindside hit in response.

If Weber wasn't 1000 feet tall and made out of titanium, someone could have gotten hurt.

Dumb plays all around.

- Scabeh

Blindside? WTF you talking about.
