I never saw Wentz in college play but I know that the only way to win, generally, is by picking a QB early in the 1st round so I'm glad Roseman took the chance. Looks like he got it right

My dad watched Wentz play a few times in college and thought he had the tools. So professional scouts probably new very well what we were getting. FWIW my dad used to be a quarterback.

I don't know if bill updated his blog after the back read but he says amac won't be ready to play this week. With gudas out 10 I think it's a perfect time to get Morin 2 or 3 until amac comes back.

Pederson needs to stop outsmarting himself. Run the ball. First half he was sooo predictable throw, 2nd down draw up the middle, pass. 2nd half he got back to it and we go 30 unanswered Nd win. Receivers didn't help by dropping 3 or 4 of them and wentz made 3 or 4 awful throws but the play calling was terrible. Bright side was he actually made the adjustment something previous coaches never could and we whooped butt the 2nd half. Elliot potential concussion is obviously a big deal maybe Sturgis is ready and we can hand it back to him ?

Perhaps some Anger Management classes for Gudas during his break??

Also, if AMac isn't good to go this week, then either demote Alt or waive Read and lets get Morin in the lineup. Time to see what this kid can do against the big boys.

On another topic, as ugly as that first half was last night, big props to the Eagles D for keeping it a 2 point game. Glad to see Pederson get back to the ground and pound game in the 2nd half and just run the ball right down the cowpukes throat. That was beautiful to watch!! Also, you know you have a special player at QB when on an off night, he still goes out and throws two TD passes with no turnovers. This team is for real. If they can go out west and just split the 2 road games with Seattle and LA, they should be going into that last game with Dallas 13-2 and will likely have the 1st seed locked up.

Eagles top NFC seed, Wentz probably the MVP and Pederson Coach of the Year. C'mon, who saw that coming this season?
