It's pretty simple

1. You were posting about how great his corsi stats are. I thought it was okay that I posted my own stats on him.

2. Seen it in the past where Stecher and Hutton played higher pairings and started and faded once the honey moon was over.

3. You keep talking about it, I respond. That's allowed.

Stecher and Hutton are not very good nhl defense men, if you want to add Pouliot to that group great, just adds to my opinion this team lacks talent.

No stats could make this team good. I will repost some positives of players on the team after a loss as a silver lining, but i never deviate from reality that this team is absolute garbage after our 1st line. Management and ownership is garbage. PP and its coach garbage. Rookie HC and assistant are exactly that.

I love how some people look at individual dmen, or players in general for every loss, and its the same people who expext this team to win on a nightly basis. To sum it up for you, lines 2 through 4 are all less than average in the league, this is bad. All 3 d pairings, by league comparison, are less than average. We have no true number 1 goalie but instead 2 career backups. We have a rookie head coach, rookie defensive coach, and a old bag of bones running the PP. The entire team sucks, is going to continue to suck, get over it.

You're exactly right. DP is a 3rd pairing on a good team, 2nd on this terrible team. Overall this isnt good.

They are NHL D capable. 3rd pairing D in the future. Pouliot is the same boat to me. He's a fine 3rd pairing D.

Yep. Its more realistic to get excited over our prospects than our current team winning anything other than a lottery pick

Re read. I said the entire d pairings suck, no matter who plays what minutes, the team still blows. Why youre singling out DP to me is in question. Get over him and the concept of winning with this team man. You constantly voice your displeasure with losing, while the team is bad. They arent winning anything more than a lottery pick.

I singled him out because you posted how great the guy was for weeks. He went from a 1st pairing D to now a 2nd pairing D. On this team he is still a 3rd pairing left side D.

I don't need to get over the concept of winning. I never believed the team was going to win. I said before the season even started this team is a .500 hockey team AT BEST.

I don't like losing, a person who enjoys losing is probably (frank)ed in the head.

I know this team lacks elite talent up front and on the back end.

I'm just not bathing in sadness everyday about the Canucks.

Not a single poster here enjoys or likes losing, but i would say everyone outside the pom pom group comes to terms with it. I will continue to post silver linings of players after losses, much like i have with boeser and horvat as its relevant to our future. Do i think DP is part of our future as a 3rd pairing, yes i do. I never once posted he was a 1st pairing d man, and all my stats were reposted from the twitterverse. My actual opinion has not changed from him being a 3rd pairing on 99% of the NHL, but a better 2nd pairing than our pylons that we currently have for a defensive unit outside Tanev

Corsi and stats are just something to look at when the team is failing on multiple levels and you want to try and gain a more clearer picture on who is worse than who and who is doing better than who. I dont hold it in any higher regard than a seeing eye test or anything else. Again, i probably would have never posted to begin with if the team was winning, cause when the team is winning, nobody gives a poop about individual stats of anybody lol. Truth
