He checks well in the offensive zone took away some pucks. Didn't see his line at all in the defensive zone. He might improve skating but he's not going to be a speedster. Though his hockey IQ is his strength.

I'm expecting a physical beatdown by st.louis, truly one of my favorite teams to watch right now. Hope that the Canucks go for a similar mix of size and skill, going to the net hard never goes out of style imo

Jake would be sitting next game if he took that long of a shift.
I would like to see Jake playing left wing on that line with Bo and Brock. His speed would help cover for Brock deficiency in the defensive zone.

Rewind the play if you can. The Blues player engaged DD first both going for the puck and then wraps his arm on DD's stick prying it away. What pissed me off is those 50/50 battles shouldn't get whistled down like that. It takes away from the game.

You got to put some blame on Biega for that goal too. He gave it away when he had time and space. Then decided to join Jake who body checked his guy on the wall instead of Biega taking the open man who scored.

Tanev can't come back soon enough. Maybe also stop Hutton from panicking to throw pucks out of play for penalties.
