You nailed it Buzzo, Simmonds does not belong on the ice at anytime, he is skating in cement and Hakstol puts him out to start overtime. Weise should be waived, soon as we get rid of some of these culls things will improve. This loss is on the coach again for the lineup he presented. First line against first line is ridiculous, as home team you shut down their number one line with the Laughton line. You only do that if you think your number one line is that much better than theirs but it is not.

Don't you know the coach can't do anything. Since these guys are well paid they should be self taught how to not go offsides or take really stupid penalties. Coaching is way overrated and takes no responsibility for losses.

I feel some roster changes/demotions and some call ups are not too far off.

1) A forward not on the first line scored
2)...that's all I've got.

3 pp goals in 2nd for Flames ....other wise Flyers really outplayed when it was 5 on 5. That's a game they should not have lost.

Yep and I do not blame Elliott at all . He faces ridiculously high chance scoring opportunities. Hakstol has no control over this team and has absolutely no vision on how to put the lines together. The sooner he gets canned I can get back to Flyer hockey and the team will make strides to the good. This is just the beginning of a huge losing streak until he ultimately get canned. I predicted he would be gone by Christmas and mark my words, how can us Flyer fans put up with this bull poop?

Geezus man, you really need to grasp reality. They could lose 8-0 and you find something good to say about this team. They are who they are, and that is not a very good team overall. A coach who plays guys who are hurting this team every game and offer nothing in the way of helping them. A GM who everyone mostly has put up on a pedestal as this GOD who will has become the most amazing leader of building this team. Sure he has drafted well, but you can't say he has become a great GM just thru drafting. Until this team starts progressing, I will reserve judgement on him until he is either canned or we become a stable up and coming consistent winning team.
