My comment was specific to the Gudas suspension situation.

If it was me, I'd move Raffl up to the 3rd line and insert Read into the lineup on the 4th line. I would not play Lehtera.

What's best for the player is part of the equation and most times the most important factor.

Neither of those guys are kids. The Flyers need to get things turned back around. I don't see how doing nothing is a viable option. The team is at risk of falling out of the playoff race if they don't start stockpiling points in very short order.

the Phantoms were in Quebec last night and with this being an afternoon game perhaps a callup wasn't possible anyway. If Weal is going to be out longer term I would like to see a player called up personally.

well he has had 21 and 13 goal seasons playing higher in the lineup so I'd sooner see him there than Lehtera but now I dislike the 4th line

It's mostly that they should announce what it really is. The way they frame it is that it's a hearing to determine if a suspension is warranted when it should be framed as being that the player is suspended and we're just pretending to listen to him but already we're giving him 5 games. It's like they don't want people to think that it's not procedurally fair.
