Leafs need to move on from Gardiner. Liljegren will fill in nicely when he's gone next year. Also keep Komarov for cheap and trade Hyman. Someone will pay a lot for him. Trade JVR for sure

Komarov and JVR are both up for contracts, and the Leafs have plenty of wingers ready to step up, Leivo included. I think they're both going to walk, unless there's a way to trade JVR for a top-4 D.

Ya we'll if?..jvr and bozak are gone . they'll miss some goals!..but that's not just the problem. .it's preventing them! I think with leivo in the line up on a consistent basis Babcock can install and instruct a more detailed defensive response to his play..and apparently babs loves shoshs competitive game!..but jvr won't be bringing a number 1/2..guy!..not alone no way! ..but Hammer? ..or if a team can prearrange a deal with his (JVR's )agent?..Komarov has been a bit off..but I think that they might want him back?..if not then shosh takes his place..imo

..ya well have no issues signing these guys! ., we have a great capoligst in place! And I think they know. .even with the marleau signing what their doing! ..jvr was aspose to be gone last summer. .and the deal feel though. .so it's just a matter of time hopefully bye bye jvr bozak and gards

Montreal going to offer literally the bank for him. Leafs offer will probably be 9-10M max. I think they do make an offer on him, same as the stamkos one, dont think they have a choice but to and before we talk about the whole defense situation, there is no credible ufa defenders, which will require a trade, which it is better to acquire tavares and trade other assets in order to meet that requirement on defense

If Tavares doesn’t sign in NYI or Toronto I hope he goes to a Minnesota or some team like that. Play twice a year. No repercussions to not signing him. Until leafs beat him in the final and it hits him.... right in the feels... that the choice was the Leafs all along. And he picked the wrong team and goes on ltir for sadness
