19-8 in 2nd period shots, no surprise for the 20 minute Rangers, somehow Hank will get blamed for the poop effort in front of him, let's face it they're a .500 hockey club, the 6 game win streak was a mirage and they're still better off trading off pieces to build for the future

Played a decent first 20 but that's all they're capable of

Just brutal.

They could've played another 6 periods and they wouldn't have scored. They are a mediocre hockey team. That can't put forth a 60 min effort or a complete game.

FireAV, Buchnevich moved down to the 3rd line is yet again another AV desperation move that makes no sense

Hayes with the nice giveaway and Girardiesque flop on the PK was the only moment I remember seeing him tonight, this is the real 17-18 Rangers, just keep losing and do themselves a favor, they have zero % chance of winning the Cup, it's over, window shut just deal with it and reboot

Wow

I do think they are moving forward. I actually forgot that I expected them to give up the first goal within the first 4 mins. PK has improved also. 5v5 though they struggle to score or play a full 60. If they dont score on the PP its feels like a certain loss. Who knows maybe in 3 weeks they are able to correct that as well.

More like being negative after the last loss, yes Bob was great but it's the 19-8 second period where Hank needs the effort from his team to take some of the burden off of a 35 year old goaltender, it's the system that is really failing, I don't think they're a terrible group, plenty of depth to be better in our own end and better than a .500 club but something has to give, we at some point have to go back to the drawing board and blow up this blueprint that hasn't won

This I agree with but there is no blowing it up. Blow up the system maybe tank? Not a chance we all know that. Unlike other teams (pens/flyers/oilers) rangers can’t tank for years to stock up picks and draft superstars so hopefully gorton can do something before or at the deadline and we are still in the playoff race.
