When I make a reactionary post with someone now its based on what they have done. They know all to well what its about. So you don't need to weigh in for them. Also, I let it go. Even if they don't acknowledge their transgression directly.

If they accept a 1 year offer, say 2 million each. It reallt doesnt make sense for them. They arent dumb, they see the losing just as we do. I really think they retire this summer, despite being physically capable of maybe going another year. They know their limitations, they are just too slow.

I know this sounds terrible but if I was a canuck marketer I would want to milk this as much as I could. Farewell season capped off with a big celebration at end of that season. Then follow that up with a jersey raising ceremony at the start of the following season.

Make it so there is an obvious hand-off of responsibility from old to new and to top it all off, introduce a new jersey signalling a new era in canuck history.

Even with a prorated cap hit, hard to trade for the sedins and their contract given such low point output. Im thinking maybe, just maybe, they go to yzerman or Armstrong in the off-season and say "1 million, 1 year, performance bonus riddled, give us 4th line minutes"

Sedins have gone on record complainimg about the adjustment in ice time. I believe vanek as well i dont think they resign if they know they will travel as much as the canucks team does in a year, just to play 8 minutes a night. They dont need the money, and a championship isnt in the horizon in the sedins window of playing.

Last night I saw Daniel fore check. The puck hits the end boards, Daniel and the Dman go in to retrieve, and Daniel shoves his stick at the puck while he turns away from the collision. It was 2-2 at that point.

It was terrible on all levels.

Protecting a prestigious brand?

I love that version of the downward skate even though the colours are very close to the Ducks. The rink and stick logo is still the best/most classic but both are in keeping with tradition and branding. The whole orca bay thing has negative cogitation for me.
