LeftyFU = Confirmation bias. Using a couple past examples from a system that no linger exists under the modern lotto while ignoring the many failures.
- Nuck4U

So you can use revisionary history to say it doesn't work, even though you say it was a different system, but I can't say it does work

It was obvious by your private thread exchanges and PM's it went beyond being leaders of team tank and team unrealistic into being kinderbuzz provocateurs.

That's pretzel twisting logic. Facts are new system doesn't reward failure. Like getting the can't miss generational talent. Designing and setting your team for failure to not get rewarded is not smart. Not to mention the damage effects.

Plus having high draft picks are great. But that doesn't mean they work out to expectations or there aren't any busts.

Key is quality drafting from 1st to 7th round. Keeping your top picks. Development both of the prospects and youth into top team and system. Plus savvy moves. That is smart and less reckless rebuilding.

Butt being bottom 3 sure helped Toronto and Edmonton

They became more entertaining but have not accomplished anything. Plus Toronto was exception not the rule. Oilers were under previous set up and why they changed things so new set up doesn't reward.

trade is showing very early signs of being on the same win scale as Granlund vs Shink as Jim Bennings better trades

Liked the trade at the time because of thin D depth of young players and it's working out great.

I liked the trade at the time, didn't care for the thrown in 4th round pick, but had no clue that Pouliout would be this good/surprising.

Lol

I wanted to trade Kessler for Sutter and pullout.

We got way more, and saved guance by sacrificing sbisa, so I'm super happy with Benning and his trading.

Uhm the trade was based on the pick the AHL plug was the throw in to keep contract room this season for prospect signings.

Asset management wise Canucks gave up a 3rd and 4th round for an 8th overall. Not bad.

Absolutely. I liked pedan for pouliot but criticised including more picks. I must admit the 4th round pick is essentially null now

Once a player is drafted, his draft position isnt really important. Guddy was a 3rd overall.... Sutter 11th overall. It doesnt mean anything other than expectations before that player plays in the show

I think that we have the most high picks on a team or close to it. Boo number ones but lots of top ten .

Still has relevance when they are not established NHL players and prospects trying to make it.

Why Sutter and Guddy trades are not comparisons. Much like missing that the Pouliot trade was based on the 4th round pick.

Can you provide what measure makes the Wings better then the Canucks

Further the unrealistic statement that Stecher is an all world pro confirms the spewing of hyperbole over thoughtful opinion or factual discussion.

- Nuck4U

Thanks for confirmation of my my post, I tried several times to engage with thoughtful engagements only to see you ignore all those posts to continue with a one track thought. So hyperbole it is, Detroit is heads and shoulders better, but I can’t seem to penetrate the Pom Pom Nuck4U bias.
