This is a great move for the Oilers. Cammy can still play with the best, his point have dropped off quite a bit, but I think with the right chemistry he can bring them up again

He was playing in a 3rd line role in LA, which he tried admirably in, but is not his strength. If they try the same in Edmonton, it will likely work out the same. I like the trade for LA because we got a player who's a better fit for the role that we have open.

LA, got an okay players but Cammy is one of those guys who has the scoring touch but only when he has the right chemistry. His only other option is plant him right infront of the net and he can score a few.

He has also always been a big playoff guy, scores big goals at the right time.

It could be a win - win for both teams.

If he actually deserves playing time, that'll mean he's actually producing points. And if he's not, he doesn't have a leg to stand on and can be waived. Simple as that.
