For what? The invisible spear? Maybe a 2 gamer for hurting someone's feelings? - buddy_doug
It wasn’t for how hard he whacked someone, cause let’s be honest, it was a love tap. It’s that he used his stick as a weapon while on the ice on someone who was off the ice just to incite more fighting. |

The irony of you saying this is great.
We’re all anonymous here and whatever, it’s the internet. My beef with Tkachuk is that he’s a talented goon who likes to do a lot of dirty poop. But last night, he didn’t ever take a fight, just incited stupid poop and laughed as a ref held back others from taking him on. Is that’s normal for him or does he actually fight? |

Just like the good ol days! But you’re probably one of the guys that wants to get rid of any physical part of the game. |

Hell no. Love that poop. But if you want to start calling out our goon, I’m going to call out yours. I loved that brawl. I was actually at game that featured the Brawl in Hockeytown in 1997 between Detroit and Colorado.
The game has changed, you just don’t shove your stick into the legs of someone walking off the ice, though without expecting consequences. |

I’m sure he would be willing next game, I’m also sure the coach doesn’t incourage him fighting as he is more valueable on the ice and healthy than in the box or with a busted up hand. |

Yeah. I get mad when Mantha fights. He wins a lot of his fights but he’s too skilled to get injured. He fought Witkowski in 2016 when he was with the Lightning and Mantha broke his finger. Didn’t understand why our fourth liners don’t step in and take the punches so the skilled players can focus on scoring. |

If anything was a coward act it was your boy throwing rights at a guy that fell through the boards and had nowhere to go. I’m sure he will be nailed to the cross by the leaugue for that s$it...probably not |

Ferly would shed them with anyone but is it worth risking our 1st line winger |

Exactly. It’s ok once in a blue moon for stars to fight, but you really need those depth players to lay their faces on the line for the most part. |

Just like Bennett trying to hit Ericsson across the head with his stick should get a nasty suspension. |

Dammit!
For me the only thing that was out of line was Mantha continuing to feed Hamonic after they fell through the open bench. That deserves a beating and shows little class.
Tkachuk with the love tap was just stupid.
Not sure what Kulak was thinking tossing them with whats his name. Flames got other guys that should do that. Gotta give him props for not backing down but if ou are going to do that learn how to tie the other guy up and fall down.
That being said Lack was not good, but got left out to dry. How many more games does he get before the experiment is over?
I don't think the score would have been that different with Smith. D has to play better or else going to be a long road trip. Not sure if it was because Smith was not there to play the puck but the D was horrible when pressured. |

Yeah that’s the trouble with playing a Lack not only did he not come up with any key saves but the defense has to play a lot different in terms of the breakout compared to smith with him playing the puck so often. No excuse though they D was horrible last night. They need to start living up the expectations here.
Gilles sure got the full meal deal for his 1st game this year

Good thing that can come out of getting your ass royally handed to you is that you typically come out and play a lot better.
Lets hope that is the case. |

Around 17 min into the third period or so. May be a couple minutes off. Ericsson blocks the attempt with his glove luckily. |

Potable of complaining about referees in here.
1. Referees do not cause 8-2 losses under any circumstances.
2. Complaining about refs after an 8-2 loss is pure deflection.
I would say you guys are better than this, but clearly you are not. |
