Tampa Bay Lightning Vice President and General Manager, Steve Yzerman, announced today that the team has acquired goaltender, Louis Domingue from the Arizona Coyotes.
In exchange, the Bolts sent goalie Michael Leighton and forward Tye McGinn to Arizona.
Chayka just assembling a team of ex-flyers. They are going to be impossible to beat soon enough.
I know the stats on playoff positioning at Thanksgiving and all that, but the Flyers play almost no games against the East before then. The 4 times they've been shut out have all been from WC teams (3 from the central). Most of the Metro hasn't played each other yet, so I find it hard to believe that they can't make up ground if they end up playing well against the Metro (something they didn't do much of last year)

What metro team's do you think were better than / have recent history of success against

The 3-point intra-Metro games are going to be brutal

Rangers, Canes, Pens...I think the Flyers are better than the Devils, but haven't had success against them. Caps, BJs, Isles are all better than the Flyers right now, but beatable. One thing going for the Flyers is depth. They might not have as many great players as some of the other teams now, but Caps are very top heavy, Isles would break down without Tavares, and BJs would struggle without Bob/Jones.
