Game folk: Does anyone know how to start a line brawl in the EA NHL games? I did it once by accident.
Same for goalie fights.
Thanks. - jmatchett383
In the newer ones, I've only ever have had line brawls in the EASHL modes. I haven't played the new one as much as I like to due to other games being out so can't confirm if you can do it in regular modes
Thank the lord we don’t have a kid in the minors that could help provide some actual NHL level offensive talent.
That size Lehtera and Weise are providing has been crucial to winning games. - flyer_nutter
I get it but vecchione is being developed as a top 9 nhl center. I don't see an opening for one of those atm with nolan coming back. Would of been nice to see that move made a few weeks ago to get his shot. Lindblom has just started scoring I think they want to see if he can gain consistency in that department before he comes up. 30 to 40 games if he excels could show that.
I have, but the console just explodes whenever he gets into a fight, or throws a hit, or steps onto the ice, or is inserted into the lineup. - jmatchett383
My Xbox machine just had a retirement for NP in just 10 games too...then exploded.
I was a player-coach for the Charlestown Chiefs of the old Federal League. Not only did I lead by example by calling people's wives lesbians, I also blackmailed the general manager. I think I have LNAH coaching talent. - jmatchett383
Have the flyers ever employed a trap system? Was Lavy's a type of trap?
If no, then why not? Is it cause we always get beat by the trap that we vow never to use it? Those devils...sigh... - bmoreflyer
The Devils haven't been a trap team in a long time. Under Laviolette, the Flyers played a lock style neutral zone forecheck. They employ a very similar system under Hakstol. Laviolette's offensive zone fore check however was a lot more aggressive. More of a 3 man press forecheck versus Hakstol's 2-1 forecheck.

Ah that's right, the good ol neutral zone lock, thanks.

Laviolette sometimes employed a less aggressive strategy.
