Too many armchair coaches in here for my liking. How many of you have real world hockey experience? If not, your opinion is irrelevant, peasant!
The problem is you can't just put skill players into the lineup. Gotta have the right mix of forwards which is what Hakstol is correctly doing.
Weise and Lehtera are the glue that hold together the bottom six. They have the right amount of sand paper to their game to counterbalance the namby pampy dingly dangling of guys like TK.
This is how hockey works fellas. Been the same for 40+ years. Get with the program. - StepfordSam
Here you go - places to ply your significant skills
Because they're creating chances and are actually effective in all 3 zones unlike last year's 4th line. - jmatchett383
But haven't been able to close. So why wouldn't we try another player whose competing at a high level like a weal and tk with them to see if they can finish and see if a guy from that line can jump start another line

you new to the internet? thats kinda the point.
sounds like you are also being an armchair coach though, eh?
Is it a tough transition to the big rinks of the NHL? I can only assume international hockey is a (frank)ing mess for you - YuenglingJagr
I was a player-coach for the Charlestown Chiefs of the old Federal League. Not only did I lead by example by calling people's wives lesbians, I also blackmailed the general manager. I think I have LNAH coaching talent.

Meh, you couldn't even see the talent in your best scoring line. You had them stapled to the bench until injury forced you to play them.

But the team needs some goals, and they are not providing that. Also, Raffl may be able to help the 2nd or 3rd lines with their possession issues.
There was a lot of criticism of Read's 16-17 season, but I think the 16 ESP he scored (in just 63 games) will be more than any of the Honey Bees manage in 17-18. He also had great 5 on 5 shot attempt numbers, which is all the 4th line have managed to produce so far.
I think no matter what the line combos are with Patrick out and no one brought up from the Phantoms I am going to dislike one of the lines. - nastyflyergirl
