The thing is they aren't winning games using the line up the way it's structured now so why not try it. Hakstol always makes the safe move, take a risk man (frank)

B schenn trade has hurt the forward depth maybe more than hexy anticipated. Not killing the trade I still would have made it, but they are definetly worse off this year for it

Lehtera and filpulla are complete black holes. Everything dies on their stick. They are a day late and a dollar short to any loose puck or board battle.

They did , all I am saying is putting any combo of Martel, Vecchione,Lindblom in for Weiss and Lehtera surely doesn't make the Flyers that much worse so why not give it a shot. The team is already losing, get the young guys experience its not like Lehtera and Weiss are in the future plans for this team.

In my view right or wrong, if Hextall thought that a player like Martel was ready for the NHL and could help the Flyers, without it being detrimental to his future, he would be on the team.

Buffalo up 4-3 on the Pens. Plenty of time left though, sadly.

I don't like the way Hakstol coached that first period. They get a down a goal early and unless I'm mistaken there was 6 minutes gone in the period before the Giroux line saw a 5 on 5 shift. Too much focus on matchups.

I have had an issue with a bunch of his decisions....but the bottom line is the team has regressed after the first 5 or so games when they seemed to skate a lot better. I'm really sick of blaming coaches but I can't say he's doing a great job when it's obvious he's not. Hopefully some things start to click, because this team has shown they can play a hell of a lot better then what they are bringing.....the inconsistency is maddening.

I have a better chance of scoring at the wives carnival.
