I really do dream of the day Konecny is allowed to play in a consistent top 6 spot, not thrown around from LW/RW, and with actual 'playoff team' caliber players.
The kid has so much more to give. |

I'd say lindblom is an extremely defensively responsible forward. Vecchione is good in the department as well. Plus lindblom besty hagg is with the flyers maybe being roommates on road trips will help him continue to adjust to America - Tfaehner
Yeah Lindblom is a gamer for sure he was really good in the SHL last season. He wasn't the best in pre season but I still would have started him with the big club, anything is better than Weiss, I'd rather have Read in lol |

If Giroux gets moved back to center at all this season hopefully they put Konecny with him and Voracek

He really does remind me of a guy like Arvidsson. I hope they try all they can to get him to dominate with his speed and offensive creativity. Its constantly on display.
He's more than a 3rd line pest. |

B schenn trade has hurt the forward depth maybe more than hexy anticipated. Not killing the trade I still would have made it, but they are definetly worse off this year for it
Lehtera and filpulla are complete black holes. Everything dies on their stick. They are a day late and a dollar short to any loose puck or board battle.
Undersized and underskilled isn’t the way to be. We wait |

Definitely , when Patrick is healthy I think those two should be paired together for the rest of the season. Let them develop some chemistry, they are going to be playing on this team together for a while so why not. |

I was kind of expecting to see him at the 13 second mark of the 1st period. |

I bet if they put Konecny with Laughton and Leier and gave them 3rd line minutes they'd score a bunch. That line would be so fast. Hak should give it a shot they can't score with the current set up. |

What do you mean? Filppula and Lehtera don’t help Konecny expound on his talents?
How about having Simmonds and Weise on the same line?
I don’t get how this team could look so fast and dangerous the first few games and then be so slow and inept since. Ahhh, last place. |

Never happen. Too much youth, and too high risk. Or pick the bullpoop reason of your choice. |

I don't like the way Hakstol coached that first period. They get a down a goal early and unless I'm mistaken there was 6 minutes gone in the period before the Giroux line saw a 5 on 5 shift. Too much focus on matchups. |

Losing Patrick screwed the depth. Instead of having 3 lines as threats to score, adding in the combo of Weiss and Lehtera as constants every night has made this a one line team. No one can develop chemistry with either of those two on their line because they kill every play they are involved in. Its a joke that they still get playing time when there's clearly better options available in the minors. The sooner Patrick is back the better.
