I liked Burkie as a character.

But he was a bad GM.

Very bad in drafting.
Bad to very bad in trades.
And very bad in picking his coaches.

He was great with the media though always entertaining.

I'd really like to know why he got fired...was it the Hazel thing?..was it defying orders to trade or not trade for Luongo?....was it the change in ownership from MLSE to Rogers?...it was something, but we'll prob never know why
