Trouba clearly wants to play elsewhere, I think Canucks should be all in on him and move Tanev+ if they can convince Trouba to sign here long-term.

Good confirmation though if you followed my posting better you'd know Gaudette's NCAA season doesn't end early enough to be papered into AHL by Canucks. He won't do a PTO for Comets. That loses the advantage of burning a year off his ELC for staying in college another year to develop. But he'll get a BB look to prove what he has and make the off season decisions more palatable.

Interesting. I'd sign him and let him practice with the team, get him into game action if the team is bottom'd out at then otherwise just let him "redshirt" and collect a NHL paycheck.
