JT on the rags is a cup threat IMO. Look at them now. Add JT, lose Nash and a couple nobody's to accommodate his salary they are definitely a cup threat IMO .

I just do not know. Need to see the pieces around JT. As good as JT is, he is not on the Matthews or McDavid level and is going to need more help especially with an aging Hank and suspect D.

Also factor in that the rangers are a top notch orginization that treats their players right. Have a couple friends that work/worked with the Rangers and it is well known that they treat their players like gold throughout the league. One of the main reasons why players want to go there. We really don't have that reputation as I'm sure you know.

if he isnt signing he needs to tell them so they get something. as it stands now teams wont give you a ton unless hes a rental at deadline or they stand a shot at resigning him
