the current sabres are worse at scoring now then when Nolan had gus, foligno, ennis and coho in the top 6

No but how many times to you hear a head coach or GM say this: Trading player X was a huge mistake and we should have never done it.
- hehateme

Sometime it better just to keep quite about it then...Rather than try to make the fans look dumb.... or just oh I don’t know tell the truth... we knew we would suffer in the run game but we wanted the cap space going forward... I could live with that... but the statement he’s had no affect is total bs, unless giving up 298 rushing to the saints was a dream.

not completely true, but pretty close...(I'll let you figure out how many they scored in Nolan's first 17 games)

Ragnarok is Ingram/Kamara. Justice League is the Bills D. Ragnarok kicked ass, partially because of The Immigrant Song.

You don't need that at the beginning of every sentence.

JCragCrumple we need you!

I've got nothing for you, Kaiser. The season blew up this weekend. Not feeling particularly positive.

Pretty sad. Got beat on Friday, put Moulson back in Saturday, played him almost as much as Pominville, gave Baptiste 7 minutes of play even though we're struggling to score and he's probably the most likely player to score a goal who isn't a regular on the team.

Still playing ROR 22 minutes a night because Gus, Larsson, Moulson, Nolan and Reinhart can't be counted on to score at all.

I still like Fedun's game, though. Can we keep him? Huh, can we? Can we?

Not by much, if at all.

They don't have Eichel, but they have plenty of guys who have been good enought to score goals in this league

- sbroads24

Maybe that's why they are doing better. No softies welcome there

lack of talent is a part of it...

at this point, how much it contributes to the sabres woes is the bone of contention

- Michael Pachla

if you have 1 or 2 guys underperforming, and your team is mostly healthy, you can scratch the underperformers. When your entire bottom 6 blows, and two players are hurt, you swap Moulson out for Griffith like the proverbially titanic deck chairs. Not much can be done.

Although i don't understand why Pommer got demoted from Friday to Saturday; during Friday night's game, he had an awsome ripper go off thee crossbar and he had another one denied on a nice shoulder save. Yet for some reason Moulson plays 12 and half minutes and pominville had 14 the next night? That's an odd coaching decision.
