Well they have more than two good players, but yeah that Taylor Hall trade was just shooting yourself in the Richard for no reason. And the other moves are dubious at best. I want to see the Oil contending again, it's a bummer. That Taylor Hall trade was some sorry, sad dumbass poop. Those moves are Leafy man, Leafy. That's not good to make Leafy moves.

I'm pretty sure that it won't be McLellan that takes the bullet if the Oilers do not make the playoffs this year. Chiarelli wil be gone. With McDavid and Draisaitl its only a matter of time before they are contending, need a competent group to build around those two.

Can't agree with you on that one. But Chiarelli is one of the worst GM's in hockey - imo. Overpaid for the two contracts in the summer - big time, traded a proven scorer for a d-man who has not lived up to billing since drafted - not even close, traded a decent goal scorer for one of the three Strome duds. Signed plugger Lucic to a ridulous contract and the Puljujarvi pick not looking too good right about now. Chiarelli has a history of being sh!t at the draft table though - he picked up Zobril, Debrusk and Senyshyn ahead when Barzal was on the table when he was with the Bruins.

Yes he traded 16th and 33rd for Reinhart. 16 was Barzal. Reinhart looking like an epic flop.
