If I might disagree - he is a MAJOR problem.

Their top scorer, top playmaker, makes everyone on his line better - when has he done that since game 2?

Where’s the jump, the magic, the puck on a string, putting it anywhere he wants.

Your best players need to lead you out of the desert - no matter who his line mates are (and they all are NHL players) he has to make chicken salad out of...and Kane has been very ordinary to my eyes since Columbus.

What an uninspired, contact averse, lack of urgency group of players this team has become.

Captain certainly not leading, coach not demanding......

I'll look into it. Rationality is a character trait that might do you well. If you read my comment, I called out Kane for a poor decision with the drop pass at the O-zone blue line that led to the odd-man rush. Kane is 5'10" 180lbs, he should NOT be putting himself in positions to get hit. He should've simply dumped that puck down low.

As a goalie, you are completely unqualified to make that assertion from the safety of your no-contact blue paint. Self-preservation as a smaller player in the game of hockey is what allows you to actually PLAY in the games and do what he is there to do...produce offense. If Kane puts himself in a position to get smashed by 6'3" 230lb players, he would be on IR more than on the ice.
