New Blackhawks lines:

Saad-Toews-Panik
Schmaltz-Anisimov-Kane
Sharp/Hayden-Wingels-Hartman
Bouma-Kero-DeBrincat

Keith-Franson
Forsling-Rutta
Murphy-Seabrook
Kempny-Oesterle

- walleyeb1

When will we see Bouma with Toews? That combo will be the key to turning things around.

And.......... who's going to be in net to face the 40 to 50 shots that Carolina will put up tomorrow night ? If it's Forsberg, I'm sure the finger will be pointed at him once again. Tomorrow's game is bigger than anybody probably realizes. The Canes are an up and coming team with a ton of youth and speed up front and great young dmen on the back end. Their standings aren't showing how they've played so far but as we all know, they are what their point totals say they are.

Darling will be chomping on the bit to shut his Hawks down or out.

The dominoes may begin to fall if they get embarrassed again tomorrow night.

Biggest game of the year IMO.

Maybe that's Q's "message" to the core.

IDK that it's going to do a damn thing sitting #10 (although well-deserved).
Needs to sit Seabrook. Talk about a guy having his head up his rear.

And would have loved to have seen Q bench Keith for that dumbass pass up the middle the other day. Those sort of mistakes aren't tolerated for the guys making league minimum to $1M -- they sit and sometimes are banished for far too long.

With the way this club is playing -- NO ONE should be above being benched for at least a few shifts, a period or a game. In Keith's case and in deference to his "status," you probably sit him a few shifts. But the only guys accountable on Q's club are those lowly souls who must always look behind/around for the shadow's hook.

Hawks lack far too much on this roster to expect anything more than a .500 club. Like I said with my first post today....if the Hawks were losing and at least playing some entertaining pond-style hockey with lots of goals, I wouldn't be as salty as I am today. But they aren't even trying and they damn sure aren't scoring. Is that 2 goals in their last 3 games now?

Just more shuffling of Q's horrible decisions. I'm betting that the players secretly laugh their asses off when they get to practices in the AM and see the blending.
That could be one of the reasons why he's LOST this team.

Alex Debrincat might as well be in Rockford if they're going to play him on the 4th line for god's sake. Many have posted correctly on this board already and it's just plain stupid to not play him with Kane and Schmaltz or Anisimov on the 2nd line.
This is a prime example of poor coaching and the disconnect between Q and Bowman......... and the reason this team has no intensity or desire to compete. Send the kid down before you ruin him playing 4th line minutes with bangers and crashers. Just DUMB !!

Seabrook back to Vancouver with a nice sweetner or multiple picks for Tanev

Toews I would shop, maybe for Trouba, or maybe another team is looking to sell tickets with a big name

think everyone should be in play minus 88, 50, 2

Saad is a 200ft beast, young, and signed long term so he's on my untouchable list too.

How does that work, though? Usually you work your way up to the top lines through good play

You would think you had the level of talent that is speculated about him, he would carve up those lower-line opposing players.

If he's not producing on the bottom lines, how does putting him on the top change that? Maybe the guys around him will help?

Not being sarcastic, generally curious how the logic works there.

Has everybody climbed back off the ledge yet ?
I think it's time for Q to go not because he Iis a bad coach but every coach runs their coarse. Regardless of replacing Q , this is not a contending team, I thought they would battle for playoff spot but that is looking further and further away from happening.
I think were headed for a rebuild and with the lengths of some these contracts it will be a long long rebuild.
Sorry I just don't see anyone taking on these contracts and no chance or would it make sense to buy out the contracts.
For instance if we bought out Seabs contract , how much would the cap heat be every year and for how long? I think it would be like 12 years at 3.4 million .....no sense . The Hawks are in a real tough spot.

The HAWKS are paying players for what they have accomplished .Well other teams are paying players huge for what they hope they may accomplish .I take what we got ,and still believe under the right circumstances this team has the ability to due damage .

Schmaltz was definitely knocked down a few pegs after his injury, which was really too bad because he was looking like he could be a real difference maker this year. He was put in a prime opportunity to succeed with Kane, but seemed to be forcing too much since he returned.

I agree, more strength is needed as he's getting pushed off the puck easier than Debrincat.

To me, it looks like they should move him back to the wing (LW) and acquire another centre with speed, that can win draws.

- Justin Lowe

Justin, better yet, use him for a trade piece to aquire a forward in the " win now" mode. That kid will never change, guys that went to college with him said he doesn't even know how to spell The words gym and work out let alone put those facilities to good use. Not in his DNA I was told by one of his former coaches, neither is the term or words " guts and heart" . The kid would just be happy enough playing X Box when not skating. Let him be some one else's project . Or move him to wing, better yet , and I think the Moms trip is a stay of execution for a couple of these guys, Schmaltz should be Rockford bound till further notice. The kid is not interested in " win now mode hockey". Just my opinion . As far as Debrincat, he to but for a completely different reason than " little Nicky" should be in Rockford , simply to play big minutes in a winning environment to gain experience. Debrincat , when he gets his game atleast will club some one back if they mess with him, unlike Schmaltz who will peel away or Turtle. Sooner or later the coaches will tire of his act.

I don’t see why Vancouver would do that. It would take 2 of Sikura, Debrincat and a 1st rounder to unload Seabrook (maybe more).

Canucks are in rebuild mode, can always use a 3X cup champ to bring a veteran presence for the kids, but yeah going to need a sweetner whether that be a high pick or good prospect. Next few weeks should be interesting
