Something tells me he has too much personality for this organization.

Don’t like him though, and Buffalo knows he’s basically the best available player (looking for overpayment).

recent reports say he has been great in the locker room. With Buffalo being at the bottom of the standings i think that hurts the trade value, they have to do something. You are correct Kane has a good value, it will be costly. Why I said it this summer, Hextall stock piling picks and assets would put the Flyers in great shape. They have the assets to trade and still be loaded.

On another post I was discussing the Schenn trade, yes it looks lopsided now, what if the 1st round pick ++ turned into Kane? I just think Kane is the type of true winger sniper the Flyers could use. Patrick, TK and Kane doesn't sound bad

Some of these Facebook stories make it sound like he's being pushed to retire or something.

This is the very reason why I wish we kept Brayden Schenn. We knew Patrick had major injury history. I always knew it was a safe bet Schenn could be traded but I would have liked to have waited until guys like Patrick and Konecny showed they were ready to takeover and be major pieces to this team.

With this said, it's nice to see Sean Couturier running with this opportunity. It's been seven seasons. I most certainly had my doubts we would ever see what Coots is doing now. The kid looks great!

I always liked Schenn. I think he did a good job here. He hit 25 in each of his last two seasons. I was surprised he got traded. It was too good a haul to pass up. He is playing well, hard not to on that line. He always played well with Coots. But then everyone does.

Here is the $64 dollar question:

How many of you hockey geniuses out there had the slightest glimmer that we would see both Schenn and Coots centering the first line on their respective teams at this point in the season.

Not to mention (frank)ing crushing it??

I'm trusting in the process

Was pointing out the there are some who don't care that we have all the prospects we do and want us to trade for another teams prospect...

So one of the first guys to sign with Vegas retired.

What a mess that situation is.

The question for me is are they comfortable heading into next year with the same two goalies?
- flyer_nutter

This was my question coming into this season!

Anyone who had a clue knew this tandem was not one that would breed success.

I didn't think either could be top line centers in the NHL. Second line, sure. First, no.

I watch Sean Couturier nightly. As it stands, yes, he is our first line center and his play is jumping out a at me. Schenn on the other hand. Even though I've only seen maybe three St Louis Games this year, it would seem he is St Louis' number one center too, as mentioned.

No I did not see this coming.

I almost added Jericho. The night he broke out the list of 1001 holds I was laughing my ass off. His work with Stephanie McMahon was also gold.

lol - okay, Haystacks was cool. So was Andre the Giant, George The Animal Steele, and Chief Jay Strongbow. WWF was better back in the olden days.
