He is trying to make Elliot #1. Nuevy played well the game in ST Louis, so he rode the hot hand. To no avail. I knew Elliot would play this game by the end of the Avs game. |

Just a trolling asshat looking for a response. I know it's difficult , but if we all make a concerted effort to just if ignore the 3 or 4 of these posters they will get bored and go back to serial masturbation. - jaws1955

Nah, I think we're good. - johndewar
agree they are good from a patient approach standpoint but they could really use Kane, he would instantly be the sniper of the team, plays physical and with an edge, most stuff they dont have.
not saying they dont have a lot, they do but someone is going to get Kane, rather it be the Flyers

I've got tickets for tonight's game. Hopefully, the Flyers won't spend the entire first period knocking off rust.

Something tells me he has too much personality for this organization.
Don’t like him though, and Buffalo knows he’s basically the best available player (looking for overpayment).

So what the real story behind Nolan Patrick's injury? Everyday something different is put out there. Day to day and practicing with the team. Than there is a set back. Is this Facebook fake news? |

I've only heard one set back. If that is the case I bet they are now just being very careful with him and letting him skate without contact for conditioning. Once the timeline they set when he had the setback is over he will move on to contact then game action pretty quickly. |

Another odd thing I just noticed the my threads thing on the right side every now and then today will have an old thread there (just had one from May pop up over there) with no new comments. |

Some of these Facebook stories make it sound like he's being pushed to retire or something.
This is the very reason why I wish we kept Brayden Schenn. We knew Patrick had major injury history. I always knew it was a safe bet Schenn could be traded but I would have liked to have waited until guys like Patrick and Konecny showed they were ready to takeover and be major pieces to this team.
With this said, it's nice to see Sean Couturier running with this opportunity. It's been seven seasons. I most certainly had my doubts we would ever see what Coots is doing now. The kid looks great! |

i still think of him as a "young" player. Age wise I guess so, but wow, he is a 7 year vet at the age of 24. |

My guess: the kid tried to tough it out the day after it happened and made things worse in the long run |

Concussions are an odd thing. You can't plan an easy timetable for them like you can for say a shoulder or hernia. I'd say this isn't of the realm the Flyers should have expected from Patrick when they picked him. He didn't have a concussion history that I know of so. This is just the team being safe. |

Regarding Patrick? Pretty safe to say he is injury prone. Hopefully that changes as his career goes on. For a guy who isn’t a speedster to begin with, little worrisome.
Hope he rebounds and has a nice dominant career. |

Nobody goes on FB anymore. Once parents started to use it as well everyone went to Instagram.
Not to mention Zucker is riding some kind of ego trip trying to get into the media game. |

Im cool with Nolan, but still would have liked Hischier r/t the speed, and Nolan's injury history.
Is what it is. Patrick needs to play some games for an extended time to get a feel for the league. He was getting better before he got hurt. |
