Seems like this team never scores the first goal, and is playing from behind most nights. - 3flyerkids
They have scored first in 8 and won 7 of those and have been scored on first in 7 and lost 6 of those....
Anyone else see a trend? |

Excited for the game tonight! I'll be in attendance and I have to say, I've never seen Kane or Toews play live. Obviously more excited to see our guys but the all-around hockey fan part of me likes to see top of the league players. |

Have fun!
Last couple of times I saw the Flyers play the Hawks, there were quite a few Hawks fans in the stands. Almost, but not quite as much, as what you would see for a Devils or Pens game. |

I'll need to see a chart, in color please. It should also include a plate of cookies.

Thanks! I figured based on the prices for the game; more expensive than normal. I always enjoy a good Caps or Pens fan showing. Was pretty funny being at the Yotes game that we lost... I legit saw one fan |

I don't make charts
And cookies are not being baked until Thanksgiving weekend. That weekend starts the batches of 25+ varieties of Christmas cookies. (Damn family traditions) |

Neuvirth should not be in net after that Colorado game, Hakstol puzzles me with the goalie decisions. |

So basically, the Yotes have one more fan than the Panthers.

Yes the Hawks fans seem to find their way into the stadium for these games. Most are fun and knowledgeable. |

Our family holiday tradition usually involves passive/aggressive insults and lots of foul language. Personally, I'd rather have the cookies.

Are we related Bigge? Sounds just like my family events till I fled across the country. Now I go to my husband's family events and watch their drama. Way less stress for me. And maybe there is a secret to the success. Sugar makes everyone nicer and gives them something to do? |

Yeah, I hear ya. Most of my family lives only 75 miles away, but I try to see them as little as possible. Being in a family business makes it that much more difficult, but at least my brother I can get along with. My sister, well, not so much.
Can't wait to move to Florida for good in a few years and put another 1000+ miles between us though. Life is just too short to deal with miserable, negative folks, even if they are family.

I've only seen the Flyers play in Detroit, Toronto, Columbus and oddly London Ontario. The Flyers fans normally even things up everywhere I've gone. Maybe 40/60.
The Devils really have a fanbase that's noticeable anywhere? |

I hear that. My brother and I have a on and off good relationship and it's been hell for the last couple months. I can't wait for him to go away for a bit. If I moved it would be west. I hate the sun. Damn Irish/German heritage... |

Haven't been to a Devils game in NJ in a long time, but when I used to go, the split was about 50/50 with Flyers fans. My buddy who had Devils tix back then said, that except when the Rangers or Flyers came in and brought their fans, the building was usually half empty. And this is when they were winning Cups!

Yep that was the fun times. We'd go to the Meadowlands and Nassau almost yearly and walk in and take over.
Best road memory was JvR getting a hatty on my birthday at Nassau and the Flyer fans breaking out in a "This is our house" chant. |
