I was sooooo disappointed with In-n-out when I finally got to try it at like 28 years old after all the hype.

But I will say if anyone is ever in Texas find a WhatABurger. Best fast food burger I've ever had.

Not hard to find Whataburger in Texas.... in Tyler alone (a city of about 50K people), there are 8 or 9 locations. As fast food burgers go, Whataburger is good.

In my wife's hometown in the middle of Nowheresville, east Texas, there is actually a damn good Italian restaurant. A real-deal family originally from Palermo somehow ended up in the town about 10 years ago after originally being elsewhere in Texas. Their restaurant (including the pizza) is a hidden gem. Sadly, the place is usually 3/4 empty in there but Pizza Hut is jammed.
