I separate my pizza topping choices based on quality of pizza.

If I'm at a pizza restaurant, with a brick oven, etc, I will get crazy. For example: spinach and prosciutto. I'll get exotic pizzas at a brick oven place.

If I'm at a pizza joint, acceptable toppings: Plain = Pepperoni > Sausage. I will not accept anything else other than white pizza.

If I'm getting poopty pizza delivered, I will indulge in poopty toppings. Buffalo chicken and ranch. Bacon and jalapeno and ranch. Mushrooms. Or whatever weird but "understandable" combo you can muster up. I say understandable in that I'll never do something like anchovy and ham. Exotic but tasteful. Rationale: if I'm having poopty pizza at baseline, I am allowed to defile it more. I will not defile good fresh pizza.

Lastly, I won't order a ham + pineapple pizza, but I won't deny it nor female dog if handed to me.

Completely agree up until the end. I love a good spicy/tangy pizza sauce with pineapple+meats. I would never go to a legit pizza joint and order pineapple on pizza though

Yeah now that you mention it there are some sushi rolls I'll eat that have avocado. I feel like when its in sushi its usually the weakest flavor in a roll though.

Lastly, the best poopty pizza is found at Dominos, and that's mainly because they run a bunch of promos and they have stuffed cheesy bread which I can also consume and hate myself for.

Agreed. If it doesn't start to spoil in an hour it isn't worth eating. Guac should have a time table.

My son works at Dominos. They fixed it up pretty good from what it used to be. Papa Johns is a crap fest and the level of grease at Pizza hut is mind breaking.

additionally I will absolutely put hot sauce on my pizza crust if the cheese/sauce/etc has substantially ended

I have also been known to season my plain pies with crushed red pepper.
