So with Tallon in full control are they no longer going down that dusty analytics road?

I can't see how anything will work if they don't give 'something' they try time to settle into a groove & work - & I'm no analytical supporter although the micro stats are good.

Just a mess. Trying for a quick fix when it wasn't broken in the first place.

Is Barkov still the best centre in the NHL? Just curious as I know he had some injury issues.

Here we go with the Toronto elitist mentality. There's plenty of interest. Fans are tired of a crap product forever. What would you like a non traditional fan base to do when your team makes the playoffs 6 times in 23 seasons? There may be 4 or 5 teams that will sell if the team sucks year in and year out..and actually, I'll call those people "suckers"....Ownership bares ALL responsibility here, not the fan base, which by the way NEVER finishes last in attendance.

Hasn't got anything to do with "Toronto elitist mentality"! Yes the Leafs are my team but I don't live anywhere near Toronto, actually live about 3000 kms from the city! I understand your point about being a non-traditional hockey market, but strictly from an observation point of view, it looks sad when you see it on TV. My eye test says there's very little fan interest. You guys been there a long time now, I would like too see it succeed like Tampa, definitely make for a better rivalry!

I've been a diehard since 93. People label me as a troll on here and on the other board but I'm just sick and tired of this organization. I can honestly tell all fans that I will no long be a fan of this toxic franchise. This place of lying and ineptitude. They will never build a winner here.

They can't even make the playoffs 2 years in a row. The last time that happened was 95-96 and 96-97.

They haven't won a playoff series since 1996.

In a league where 8 teams from each conference makes the playoffs, the Florida Panthers own the record for consecutive years of missing the playoffs.

Name the Franchise player this organization has drafted? With all of those top 5 picks, where is that players????????

Horton? was he it? hahahh
Weiss? hahha
or was it Bouwmeester??
Maybe Frolik?
how about Olesz???
no
maybe Ekblad?? 1st overall bHAHAHHHAHAHAA what a disaster.
Barkov? maybe? if he can stay healthy???
Huberdeau? nah.....

Tippett??? BAHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHHHAHHHAH

I'd have to say Jovanowski!!!!! oh nevermind, they ended up trading him in his prime.

It has got to be Keaton Ellerby with that fantastic 10th overall selection in 2007

Gudbranson? forget I even asked. sorry about that one.
Bjugstad? well Tallon sure thinks so lol.
