Big Papi is great but he didn’t add much information to the broadcast but made it fun. As a Mets fan, love listening to Hernandez. - airjan23
Different sport but Tony Romo has been outstanding as a commentator. Very smart and really breaks the plays down and gives some good insight in what’s going through an NFL players mind at any given point of the games. |

I'm telling you all I do is watch NFL red zone now when it comes to NFL games, I don't even listen to commentators anymore, but when I have heard Romo he seems pretty personable |

NFL is garbage. I won't even watch anymore. I was already pretty much resigned to only watching the Giants, but since they are a garbage fire this year I watch just about zero football.
The pace of the game is intolerable. It's worse than the pace of baseball. Play, whistle, play, whistle, play, 5min review, commercial break, review result, play, penalty, whistle, big exciting play, negated by whistle |

if I didn't have multiple fantasy teams I probably wouldn't watch much at all
but you bring up a good point, I think fans hate reviews a lot more than the league's realize
all the reviews are horrible in all the sports and they are just getting longer and longer |

Yeah, I tried to get into football. Can't do that either. Way too much nothing between actual playing. |

It's not necessarily the exact "review" that I hate, it's the obscenely nitpicky rules that, in some instances, seem just mind-numbingly stupid. 5+ minutes of staring at grainy, slo-mo close-ups to see if the ball shook 1/4" to prove that the receiver didn't have possession "through the process of the catch", despite the fact that he leapt 5ft in the air, caught it with one hand, and got both feet in bounds. That is what gets me.
You need a god damn law degree to understand some of these rules completely and, even then, the application of them is painstakingly long and often incorrect. |

I love the Giants, but I'm not sure I love football enough to be overly interested in other games. I would watch the Coyotes play the Panthers at 10:30PM EST though |

I liked it better when the Rangers were losing. |

cant wait until the next game... Our boys are back for good now. Valiquette was right on when he said NYR play their game, no other team can match up against us... We have too much skill and are just too deep ..... |

I hear ya!!
I've been an Eagles fan for about the same amount of time as the Rangers (back to the days of the Gang Green defense - Reggie White, Jerome Brown and Co.) and now, I barely watch.
This past Sunday afternoon, with all the games on, we watched the Canadian Women's Hockey Under18 National Championships gold medal game.
For good reason, though. My bandmate's daughter was the starting goalie for the winning team! |

two biggest fears I have with the team right now are:
Brendan Smith. He has been absolutely awful and this contract looks like a nightmare, I don't know how they can get him back in and help him get his game going when they are still so desperate for points after the horrific start
Pavelec: I am really concerned about him. I think he is a rebound MACHINE and I dont trust him at all in net to give Henrik a night off. |
