Stone is rfa, karlsson is ufa and dutchy is ufa all at the same time. Better hope they dont have chemistry because your gonna be sad when the sens run out of money after stone and karlsson. - 1993_Cup_Champs
meh, Hammond + Turris = Duch's salary so no change there...
in 2 years, the salary cap will be higher, burrows 2M+ will be off the books, and 5M is available from Mac LTI... |

Sakic has Been asking for the moon and stars for Duchene for almost a year now. Serious question: how’d sakic do here? I️ know very little about what went back to Colorado in this deal. - Jethro09
Sakic did very very well here. |

nhlnumbers shows the Sens with only 1.6M of cap space so yeah, LTI might come into play in 2 years with Karlsson & co... |

Did you watch the sens at all during their playoff games? Colin White dressed for 1 game where he skated for a whopping 2:39. I guess getting on the ice is showing he can play in the playoffs. Mighty big two and a half minutes he played there. Real contributor to their playoff run. - HockeyHunter you really watch hockey. Curious, how much of those pathetic 2:39 did YOU actually watch? Because the guy that is out 6-8 weeks for blocking a shot, the guy that's so committed to the teak winning that he was put into an ECFs game for a coach who is notorious for playing vets all the time - is that the guy you're talking about....
but you should know, seeing a lot of C Finals |

This has to be one of the dumbest comparisons. Duchene will be in a much better position than he was previously - equal to what Turris was in with Ottawa. Playing in a crappy situation; no off to Avs fans.
Coga, if I said that was the 3 way deal you would of threw it back in my face. It's quantity over quality. Bowers will take years, hammond is a toss in (though I hope he does well in COL as a back up). I like the D-man from Nashville but in terms of what was being asked, again, it's quantity over quality. It only becomes quality if Sakic makes good on those picks or Girard becomes a solid top 3D - which is very possible so objectively (as someone said I'm not) I think it's good for all teams. Preds look good too but Turris in 4 years isn't worth 6M - AlfieisKing

Good players prevent shots so they don't have to break their hand blocking them. |

Pretty good.
Girard is a legit D Prospect who is NHL ready and playing now, small undersized puck mover type.
Kamenev should see NHL time soon, he has had some good AHL numbers the past season and some. Big Leftwinger
Bowers, long term timeline but more of a defensive C with limited offence ability, could be converted to a Defensive minded Winger which Avs could really use.
Toss in a 2018 1st rounder and 2nd rounder in a deep draft year, could be a very nice haul of good pieces that could be added to the team over time in the next 4-5 seasons |

haha the guy that is out 6-8 weeks blocking a shot in the final minute of a blowout preseason game. How is getting put into a game for 2 minutes make you committed to the team winning? All it showed was that he was in over his head and only got out against the oppositions weakest players...in the first period. How does that glue you've been sniffing smell? |

he probably watched 2:39 of that 2:39. cause it only took 2:39 to watch. are you suggesting that 2:39 of watching tv is a tough task?
i think youre bang on though and make some good points. like suggesting you'd have to be an idiot to not be able to judge talent after 2:39 of play.
only elite players can block shots. cant remember the last time i watched a game where a guy blocked a shot. |

What I read about him so far is that he should have been on the Preds this year but him being waiver eligible, the numbers game got him and was an easy send down |

Im ok with this my man.
Now I get the cheer against the Sens to miss the playoffs for that 2018 1st rounders to be a lottery pick.
Double dahlin chances - DDM-Coga
you would have to wait until 2019 as that 1st 2018 is lottery protected!
Shane Bowers
Andrew Hammond
2018 conditional 1st round pick*
2019 3rd round pick
Condition: If the 2018 1st is a top 10 pick, Ottawa will retain the pick and Colorado will receive a 2019 1st instead. |
