Be interesting to see what kind of deal it was.
Duchene >>> Turris, but I think Turris fits better with Ottawa. If they have to kick in too much futures it becomes potentially a really bad trade.

Duchene >>> Turris, but I think Turris fits better with Ottawa. If they have to kick in too much futures it becomes potentially a really bad trade.

Three greater signs is two too many. But I agree, I don't know why Ottawa is doing this other than maybe they don't think they can re-sign Turris.
After the Eichel contract it looks like renewing top C contracts is going to come at a hefty price so moving Turris for Duchene and getting that extra cheap year could add some extra value too. |
