"For the people that wanted to see them win, you guys must be flying high" - we should root for losing partially into a season? Seems a bit draconian to do so that early in the year. - airjan23
The fact that we lost Jimbo because of this whiny doomsday world is ending fan irks me. Main reason I read the comments is so Jimbo can tell me whats going on via twitter. Will always read your breakdowns Jan, thx. carryon |

Well he was the only one who couldn’t handle the Rangers being criticized, that’s on him and this streak doesn’t mean they are to be trusted |

Personally I don’t think this team as constituted is a contender but if they’re gonna be in the middle of the pack I’m gonna root for them to win even though a rebuild is what I think they really need, loading up for the next era when Shesterkin arrives |

Ottawa gave up too much - KreiderBomb
Only if you believe Hammond will live up to his early success consistently. And that may be difficult considering the run he had.
Outside of that, it’s Turris and a back-up for minimum 2 years of Duchene. I’d call that fair. |

After seeing what the Avs got Gorton should be fired for the return of Stepan - way out west
Sakic has held out for months to get his haul. Gorton had a July 1st deadline to pull the trigger on a deal. Not really fair to hold him accountable for Colorado getting a mitt full, is it? |

I disagree. If he would have been shopping him earlier like some suggested ugghmmm then he wouldn't have to worry about the deadline. |

I wonder if they'll keep it going against the Blue Jackets.
I can't lie, I'm dying for a trade. Something to shake things up because it still seems like something is a bit off. The recent success is nice but this roster needs tweaks.
It's nice to be sniffing .500. It's been a long time since I can remember seeing a Rangers team I thought might not get there. |

Rangers are 5-2-2 in their last 9 games. They are slowly stabilizing. Usually every year they go on a bit of a bad streak. Maybe this year they just got it out of the way in the first 6 games? I want to give this team this next week first |

It would be great if that's the case. Maybe they'll be entering the playoffs as one of those steamroller teams?
I gotta say, Zib looks like he could be that real deal 1C they've been lacking. If he's a PPG player or close to it and carries that tyoe of play into the playoffs they could be in business.
I am most worried about McDonagh. He is having difficulty at times just making a first pass out of the zone. I hope he's just having a hard time with his "Core" gone and will adjust. Losing Girardi and Stepan appears to have a bit more of an impact than many were expecting.

He played with Girardi for so long in his career, I think he just needs to find the chemistry/comfort with another partner. He has been better the last few games, hopefully he is turning a corner |

He will turn it around, but think we should see what we could get for him. His next contract could be a huge mistake. |

I hope that young/new Rangers to roster will watch 4th quarter of Knicks game tonite at MSG. The Knicks rallied from a 19 pt deficit to win and the Garden was LOUD!
If the Rangers could get the Garden crowd like the Knicks did, it will help them make it a difficult place for the visiting team. Too many recent nights the Garden has been a passive, quiet place. Lets see if the Rangers can pick up their play and wake up the monster. |

Comeback was tremendous to watch. KP was a monster and Ntilkina was excellent down the stretch. |
