Fake Canadian my ass! I'm willing to bet I have been a Canadian longer than you! And nothing fake about my patriotism!
Guess what - I CAN"T do better than that with a limited palette of red and white - can you? Pretty quick to criticize, but no alternatives provided, other than the vague & lame "you (they) can certainly do better than that". Red Wings?? Please - get serious- They have a Maple Leaf and a couple of colors to work with-how does this even remotely relate to the Wings and what they had to work with when coming up with a jersey? Yeah - and don't bother pretending that you are some English major and correct my spelling. I know that "color" is the American spelling of "colour" and that is the version that I prefer and choose to use. Both are correct spellings of the word. Geez all you that are hating on the jersey - lighten up - it's a jersey!! It looks good. Haters are gonna hate - I guess!

Put the U back in colour and everything will be fine.

Also only use kilometers, meters, centimeter, celsius, etc.

Bolded is all you really needed to say.

Slovenia threw in neon green to their jerseys. And all they have to work with is red, white, and blue like 90% of the countries on Earth.

meh... for a team like the US it is one thing to win a "miracle"; but as Canadians... we'll be looking at any result from the tournament as disappointing when we know we'd have the best team if NHL'ers were available.
the 'Miracle on Ice' is an accomplishment... I guess.

I don't know... it would seem to me that no matter what level of players end up competing at the Olympics, Canada SHOULD always be considered a contender...nyet? You have NO faith in your vaunted junior leagues? I AM surprised...

Personally, I enjoy watching tournaments like the IHFF at Christmas time, as it is a preview into the talent that could be headed to the NHL someday. I love the NHL... don't get me wrong... but we Pens fans have enjoyed over 200 games of theirs the past two seasons. I know the players and the teams inside out.

An 'accomplishment'? You guess?? Indeed it was, and 'the Miracle' is still one of THE greatest sports stories of all time.

GO USA !! F Canada, LOL.

These remind me of German soccer jerseys from the World Cups of the 90's. Unfortunately this is hockey and the look really isn't working. They are going way too modern on this focusing more on the gel logos, fancy laser-cut numbers and sublimation rather than just sticking with the basics and getting a bold design. There have been so many strange national team jerseys over the years that a return to simplicity would be more than welcome I'm sure. Solid stripes, solid USA or maple leaf crest, three colours each (add black for Canada, if I was an American I would be disappointed with the light blue), traditional numbers and name-plates. That's what the fans want I think, not gimmicks.

I had to look at that symbol twice to rememeber it. What an ugly thing. I think a string of violent and hateful gang signs might be nicer
