I wish we played tonight. Having two games on at the same time tomorrow makes me sad.

Why ? Maybe The Sabres come out flying And then you could top that off with a Buffalo Bills win

Because I like to be able to watch fully. If both are on at the same time I'm going to miss stuff.

Right now my focus will be the Bills game since they're actually having a good season so far. Also because they have far fewer games.

The Bills game will end too late for me to do that. I'd have to watch it the next day and there's no point when you factor that in.

Vegas needs a goalie. Ullmark seems ready for more than AHL. Anybody think we can upgrade at the D through sending a goalie - not necessarily Ullmark - to Vegas?

Perhaps.

Here's the issue. I doubt Vegas wants to take on Lehner (not because he's bad, just because they only really need a stopgap). Most likely, if they did target a goalie here, it would be either Johnson or Ullmark.

We clearly aren't going to give them Ullmark, being that we traded them a pick to protect him in the Expansion draft. And if you move Johnson, then the point of having signed him to keep Ullmark in the A where he gets to start on a regular basis goes out the window.

So based on all that, I doubt it's something that's a good fit for us at the moment. Basically, the Dman coming back would have to be real impressive for JBotts to deviate from the plan they have in place currently.

Its a fair point, but at the time they probably thought the moves they made on the blueline were going to be enough of an improvement. I know the season is only 10ish games old, but I'm not sure the thinking about the improvement on the blueline is right.

Benjamin is ok. He’s around the same level of talent as Jordan Matthews.

If we don’t throw to him he won’t produce. Same with Matthews, same with Watkins

It still makes little sense why they traded Watkins, only to trade a pick for a WR two months later.

They have traded for and drafted three guys who are possession receivers, and traded away the one deep threat they had.

Which would make sense if Tyrod Taylor, who won’t and I mean literally will not throw to guys who are covered, wasnt your QB.

I'm sure things have not gone the way they want. But it's hard to fully gauge it right now as well being that they have 4 Dmen injured right now. Pretty sure that wasn't part of the plan either.

Which is why I doubt they make any significant moves to shake things up back there UNLESS it happens to be for a guy they would target even if things weren't a mess right now.

I don't expect much of anything to happen trade-wise during the year. Attrition, buyouts and trades at the end of the year are the name of the game.

My gone list:

Girgs, Moulson, Gorges, Bogo, Reinhart, Okposo and Kane. Mini blow up. Probably gonna be be bad for a while yet. C'est la vie, Murray bungled.

I thought it was great when Shaq had people going for a few days and then he couldn't keep it up.

The thing I don't get is part of these guy's jobs is to fly in a plane. Where you can clearly see the curvature of the Earth.

Everyone knows the Earth is hollow and filled with mole people. Duh.

Good lord.

Gorges will be gone because his contract is up after this year.

I highly doubt you see Reinhart gone after this year unless there's a killer trade you can't say no to that he's a part of.

No way Okposo is gone unless he retires (which I highly doubt).

And Girgs signed a 2 year deal and (IMO) has been one of the better players this year, so doubtful he's going anywhere either.

I personally have seen enough of him, and i don't think he's been that good this year. I also think it's for the best to get rid of some of these stagnant guys.

As for Reinhart, I like the player, but he's not a fit here. If we can't move Okposo (which you're probably right about), then Reinhart has got to go because we need speed in the top 6.

I would tear this thing to the bone as much as possible. Get me some guys with speed. Right now, the top 6 is decent, but slow, and the bottom six is a tire fire.

The season is slipping away, I'm still hopeful that they'll waive Moulson in the near future and bring up Baptiste full time

My guess (since they haven't played since Saturday) is that if Bailey isn't on the ice, he's probably sick. It's that time of year.

Have they traveled to Arizona yet?
