Too much aquisitions without a plan or finances to cover the transitions.

There's no reason why they still have Rona, Rona l'entrepot, Rona Quincaillerie and Reno Depot.

They all operate seperately to a certain extent.

4x montlhy fliers
3x websites
2x credit cards and financial plans..

Logistics, etc..

They are huge, yet they might as well be the same as BMR and Laferte..

They need to merge to 1, but not sure they ever had the financials for the transitioning.

Depends your definition of organized...

for 100M plus companies, how many have an adequate ERP across all divisions. Adequate CRM for their sales force. Adequate financial software. Skilled management. competant staff? Proper infractructures and technology to meet their needs.

I definately don't think it's much better than 1 out of 10 that has all their poop together.

Rona bough Reno Depot and other small independent hardware stores, but didn't have the proper management/funds to do the transitions.

I know the pain. I now work for a company that bought 2x 150mil companies in the last 12 months, but they don't have the money to implement them on the same ERP system.

Hell, they spent 300mil for 2 companies making our brand reach a billion in sales, but they wont spend the 20mil to put everyone on SAP.

This ends up being a disorganized mess. Loss of sales everywhere. Incompetant micro managers trying to save sales by themselves..

There's Rona l'entrepot in Sherbrooke, it used to be a Reno-Depot, they converted it after Rona bought Reno-Depot and now we are probably going to switch it back to a Reno-Depot.
