Just have that negative feeling everytime now watching Rangers hockey. Usually a glass half full fan but this team is making it harder & harder to be positive, even before puck drop.

I don't think he wanted to do shootouts cause he wasn't any good at them, which is crazy. But he only 7 goals in 32 attempts. The list of guys better than him in the shootout is mind boggling.

Erik Christiensen.

Wasnt he one of those guys Torts would have in the line-up just in case of shootouts?

I'll keep watching and hoping this team can build around Pavel Buchnevich and maybe Mika Zibanejad. The rest of this rosert could be expendable and it wouldn't affect me one way or another. (Sorry Matt and Matt.)

Exactly right. Him playing 5 on 5 or special teams was terrible, but the guys was really good at shootouts. Yet Jagr, who's one of the GOATs, is a below average in the skills competition. That's hockey I guess.

Long day already even without the Rangers losing, got stuck on the road in the monsoon that we're experiencing here in NY & then the Jets blew another one.

feed up ...aggravated & ready to deal .....

How can a team show up w ith an effort like that in the 1st period....

You can analyze this bunch out the ying yang But you cant quantify EFFORT

or lack there of.... TRADE and break up the clique that seems to believe its not your destiny to play here its your privilege :
Right now the yg boys club .. ..Zucc Krieds J T Hayes .... these 4 are our core
been a while ( maybe too long ) I M O.... J T is the one to go ..his list of disappointments is as long as his talents or potential still... salary cap is only issue
R N H is a fine addition if its Krieds ...fine !!! cant play in a fog and take the dumbest penalties with lil output
Do it shake it up it will get heads on tight and improve teams game ..
NO reason why any team aint playin 60 minutes all out?
If A V dosn..t bench or callout if NO trade happens he is not as respected as thought .......its crunch time ...never should a lost on top of 3 spot gift

too many pts to reittereate .... just fix it and knock out the MALAISE thats is poseesessing this bunch... need a shake up ...NOW ... L G R

Typo, none of us are perfect. Especially me and my caveman typing. Hi Pete, how are you? Am I still occupying your frontal lobe property location?

Nope. I'm all in this rebuild for the Rangers. If the Rangers want value in return they have players on the Rooster that can get it out other than Nash.
- tomburton99

Ya there are certainly some with value. I said if they were sellers at the deadline. Totally different animal there, as contenders are almost exclusively looking for rentals that have expiring contracts. If you look at all pending ufa's on the Rangers, Nash is the only guy that could fetch anything of real value.

Guy in front all alone. Pavelec makes two saves, let me know when you see Staal or Holden doing their job.

Re-read my comment, Tom, since it appears that you did not understand it. That's one reason why I see the need here to nearly always explain my points with more precise detail.
I did not put the blame on Pavelec on either goal there (the Habs 1st one & the GWG). (Is that clear now as far as the two goals I spoke about?)
I only mentioned that Montreal's first goal had appeared to have been the result of a missed off sides call, (& without a challenge from A.V.), as I detailed its happenings in that response to you. How could Pavelec have been expected to prevent that one, with Danault left wide opened on the opposite side, off a bang, bang pass?
On the GWG, you saw that I pinned more of the blame on your favorite player in Nash. That was for allowing Danault to sort of escape him from behind the goal line, & go to Pavelec's left side to deposit the rebound, off that tough shot from the middle, which forced Pavelec to make a sudden & sharp, left pad save in not knowing where the shooter would try to go, which was why there was that rebound. Goalies cannot save & control every shot without leaving a rebound. Even Valliquette mentioned that Montreal was doing this as a set play last night more than just on that instance.
The part that Pavelec, (as all goalies), would have liked back, occurred on the same sequence only a few seconds earlier on Danault's initial & very slow mph backhand shot kept on the ice while skating in, & released from against the outer left circle's boards to Pavelec's left side. Pavelec allowed that shot to simply bounce off his stick, as opposed to directing it further away, or even freezing it for a face off, which would have prevented the GWG from occurring in the means above which immediately followed. However, despite that goalie flaw of his, (surprisingly not picked up on the MSG broadcast, or even by Valliquette), it does not mean that the Rangers would have been guaranteed earning 1 or 2 points last night, knowing this season's Rangers thus far.
