Staal-Holden is a thing again, Dahlin
- KreiderBomb

I hope they get Dhalin, obviously he's the prize. But the Coyotes almost have 50% chance to stay in the top and 20% chance to draft first overall. Rangers are gonna need a few lucky ping pong balls. The only teams to get those kind of "Lucky" ping pong balls are the Oilers and Penguins.

Yotes will start winning once Raanta is back, they're better than us, too much young talent on that team, Keller is better than any forward we have

Good on the NHL, Nobody down state gives a rats butt about Buffalo, this was a slight on both the Isles and the Devs and know it comes home to roost.

12 games in and last night was the 5th time the Rangers have been down by 2 or more, come back to tie but still lose, that's a culture that hasn't gotten the coach fired yet?

First order of business is to fire AV and Arniel. Ruff was brought in for when they fire AV. IMO. See if Lindy can turn them around. Then decide on which direction to go in.

AV is so bad at mishandling prospects he has actually learned the ability to ruin division rivals' prospects too

I dont mind the shopping of Kreider at this point, nobody should feel safe and secure after recent play. However, if we are trading with Oilers, I don't want RNH coming back. A deal involving Kreider and Jesse Puljujarvi would be most interesting!
McDavid and Kreider together on the same line has to have Edmonton fans feeling dreamy.
Like Jan and many others have stated, SOMETHING has to happen, lets hope its not something STUPID!

- TommyGTrain

Lol. Puljujarvi has 3 points in the AHL and Nuge has been the oilers second best player this year. Just because he is tasked with dragging guys like Strome and Lucic around the ice he gets shyt on. People should seriously watch hockey before they make stupid claims.

Good luck with that. Ruff is a terrible coach.

Puljurjarvi has struggled since coming to North America, correct?

I love Jesse but still not sold on RNH, especially at that salary. He may very wel be having a better season but still doesn’t mean I want New York to deal Kreider for him, regardless of need at center.

Cool. Nuge is worth his salary. The biggest knock against him was faceoffs and with the new rules this year he is killing it. He is tasked with his own line because he's the only one that has shown he can. Drai gets all the praise because he scored a ton when with McDavid but he can't do anything away from him. And he's getting 8.5 mill!

Nuge is seriously underrated around the league. Nuge for Kreider straight up is a deal I'd never make. It was just a made up rumour anyways.

Not a bust worrisome, I'd assume.

Personally I'd want the Rangers to tank. Now feel free to ridicule me, but Friedman last night the Oilers are looking for a speedy winger and said somebody like Chris Kreider. Obviously this a pipe dream because these kinds of trades don't happen much in the NHL anymore, especially during the season. But this is what I'd want

To EDM: Kreider and Mcdonagh

To NYR: Strome, Kassian, Fayne and 1st.

Probably a little lopsided.

According to Brooks

He said that Ruff would make sense on an "interim" basis but that the next permanent coach of the Rangers would have to be strong in "teaching, developing, communicating with and empowering young players. That's the future of this league. "

Strome is kind meh, Kassian is a forth liner and Fayne is burried in the AHL. In this draft I'd understand why teams(Not Calgary) are holding on to picks. But I'm not asking for Draisaitl, Mcdavid, Klefbom, Yamamoto or RNH.

It could have been way worse. Strome is on pace for 27 points.

If you're going to fire him, just fire him. Stop screwing around. But can he take Gorton, Ruff and Arneil with him?

What ever is next, this organization has to find their next real captain. Im not one to dwell on the past but honestly Mess was the last real captain. You could argue Drury to an extent. The more I watch this team the more I realize its time. And it WILL/have to involve losing players like Krieds, JT, Hayes maybe even Mac or Zucc. Let this year run its course and if it truly is over and they dont turn it around then they have to sell some players for picks prospects etc.

Drury wasn't a Captain. He has was just here for the payday. Say what you will about Jagr, but I saw with my own he and Lundqvist take a team that should not have been good and take them far beyond where they should gone.

As for Mcdonagh, he was fine as a leader when other veteran guys were around. Players like MSL, Richards, Girardi, Stepan and Lundqvist. Now he just has Lundqvist. But Lundqvist can't be emotional leader, lead by example type and stop the puck. It's to much for him to ask.

Jan regarding Shattenkirk, I tried to warn everyone how terrible he was at defense, no one would listen. He's absolutely atrocious. We need a guy that can't stir the pot, an Avery/Dorset/Prust type and we need to get rid of AV.

I hear you on Jagr and i dont mean to slight him, but he himself said he wanted his name announced with less fanfare and the guy didnt want to do shoot outs. You're right though no Jagr or Hank and they arent good out of that lock out.

What Im more talking about is a player that can grab a room then show it on the ice and the team follow suit, like Mess did. Again I HATE living in the past, but its the truth.

I don't think he wanted to do shootouts cause he wasn't any good at them, which is crazy. But he only 7 goals in 32 attempts. The list of guys better than him in the shootout is mind boggling.
