I agree mostly but God damnit Hymen has been gifted glorious scoring opportunities and some how manages to (frank) them up... You really think he's a 1st line player?

I don't think he has the skill set to be a 1st liner.

I think he slots in well on the top line on this team. Babcock spreads the scoring out through all 4 lines to allow this to happen. I have no problems with him there, he does miss some chances but he skates and backchecks like a man on fire. He creates more chances than he misses IMO.

Agreed, other than a couple of games when he has used his speed to create space he's been lost.

He needs to shoot more, instead of looking for the pretty pass.

On tv most the time!. ..he's great! ..makes some head scratching decisions. .but at the same time it's reassuring to know that he's here

Well I hate when guys say..matthews will score 3 and we'll be kicking ass..and blah blah blah ..setting up the let down! ..lots of hype coming into this season! ..the problem facing the leafs is the defense. .obviously! .they've got good players. .just as a unit they seem to flounder? ..I asked the question is it the defensive coach? ..the pairings? ..their lacking that number 1or2? Guy and it seems their in a bit of a holding pattern. .as most teams right now .U S.thanksgiving is usually the time teams will take a look at the teams performance ,and possibly make changes?

Well we have been trolled to death! ..and it's ok I guess. .cause ya the teams had issues to say the least! ..but because toronto is the largest market. .and a ratings machine. .if you watch leaf games? ..anywhere they go.. its leaf fans all over..some are resent band wagoners(is that a word?)lol ..but the media does create this bubble. .some definitely get sucked into..especially band wagon fans!..us who's been watching for 45 years. .not so much! ..and it's funny cause their's media types that do hate the leafs! ..mostly announcers!

If Hyman is ever better than Nylander for more than a two game stretch I'll eat my (frank)ing hat.

Willy and Auston have been the best guys on the ice almost every game this season and the laat 3/4 games easily.
